I am really hoping SCS is able to add new trucks to ATS, this year. Soon, preferably. I'm really looking forward to it! Especially the International Lonestar!

I've been playing The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD on my Wii U for a while now. Very fun game and I am really enjoying it! It looks very nice in HD. Back in 2013 I had bought the same game for the Wii and I stopped playing half-way through the first dungeon (the forest one where you gotta free the monkeys) and when I thought about it recently while playing the Wii U HD version, I couldn't figure out why I never bothered with going back to that game. 

Today I booted up the Wii version and played a for a little while. Well, I think I now know why I stopped playing and couldn't bother with picking it up again. Motion controls in Zelda sucks! :I Took me a good five minutes or so to figure out how to use the sword because I couldn't remember. Shake the Wiimote around to swing the sword was very tiresome on my wrist and... well, maybe I am just too used to the Wii U version but the controls on the Wii version in general feel clunky and less accurate in comparison. Zelda is a series that definitely works way better with good ol' buttons!

This experience has made me lose all the little interest I had in getting Skyward Sword. The game's not bad, obviously, but it only controls with motion controls. I don't want that. :\ Instead, I'm gonna buy Star Fox Assault when I have the money.

I am very sad and upset. I haven't played Smash Bros for 3DS in months so a few days ago I popped the card into my 3DS and since it hasn't been launched in a while, there was an update available. As I always did, I accepted it and let the system download and install it without being interrupted. Upon attempting to launch the game after it was updated, an error appeared on the screen and told me to reboot the system by holding down the Power button and then try launching the game again. I did as instructed and launched the game after a reboot but the game wouldn't launch. Ever since then it only gives me a black screen. None of the buttons do anything and the only way to exit the black screen is by forcing the console to shutdown.  The update bricked my copy of Smash Bros. I've lost my game. 

Enough work for today. Time to do a couple chores around the house and then take a shower, respond to appeals, do reports and play games.

I'm gonna install Windows 95 on a VM. Why? Because I can.

I've installed another hard drive on my second PC and got Linux Ubuntu installed in it. For a while I've been trying to get myself familiar with the Linux eco system, mostly for professional purposes and for some time now I have been toying with it on a Virtual Machine so I figured it was about time I gave it a try on some real hardware.

I've actually done it weeks ago but haven't actually used it yet but yesterday I felt I should actually do something on it that I would normally do on Windows. I had installed a few programs so today I ran their updaters and I'm gonna use Ubuntu today. Just not for everything, of course. I'm gonna do reports exclusively on this PC with this OS, tonight.

Aside from any obvious faults, I do need to point out one gripe I already have with Linux, just by typing this status post: Linux is not as quick to respond to typing as Windows, it seems. It often doesn't notice I pressed Caps Lock again to disable upper case letters. Apparently I type too quickly for Ubuntu to keep up. It annoys me. Stupid penguin! And it's not the keyboard, I'm sure. I had the same problem on the VM. It was just much less noticeable because I never really typed any actual text on it. You have no idea how many times I had to correct the words I typed here before I posted this. 

Anyway... onwards to working with Linux, today!

It's 6:57 AM, I have to work today, I am in bed typing this from my phone and I STILL can't sleep. D: 

Christmas time and December are over so it's time to park my Christmas truck back in the garage for the next 12 months.

And bring back out the one truck from that one super overused and overestimated, boring brand everybody but me loves like crazy but in reality is nothing to really write home about.

I haven't slept all night long and I feel the tiredness knocking at my door quite hard. I'm at that stage of sleepyness (is that a word?) in which I find even the most idiot of things far more amusing and entertaining they should be. Like this!

In The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Link can buy a house in Hateno Village from this Bolson guy and his workers. Bolson will stick around so you can buy upgrades (furniture, weapon displays, etc.) but eventually your house will be complete and there won't be anything else you can buy from Bolson. Even so he'll just stay there and hang our by the fire with his worker. It actually bugs me a little that he'll never leave Link's house even though he has no reason to be there anymore. XD

Also, today's my last day of work this year and it's already over.

Well, OF COURSE it is chaos! You all cluster up in one tiny portion of the map all the time! What did you expect?! People should avoid that whole area entirely. And at all times, too. ETS2's map doesn't contain only that region to drive through, after all. No one can complain about the size of ATS's map when they stick to only one tiny portion of ETS2's map as if it is all there is.

"Ooh, but that's where you'll find most people and be around people is fun! The rest of the map is mostly empty."

Then stop cluttering the same spot all the time! If people would stop concentrating in that same tiny portion of the map and went back to exploring the entire map as they used to, then there would be lots of people everywhere and the map wouldn't be "empty". This is all on you! 98% of the people driving around the Calais-Duisburg region have no real reason to be there and just go there because they want. And then they complain that they get into trouble. Well, then stop taking risks!

This sort of thing reminds me of a few cartoons (cannot remember any in particular at the moment) where a character puts his hand on something so hot it burn and complains it hurts so he takes the hand off of it, only to put it back immediately, "Ouch! It's hot! - Ouch, it's hot! - Ouch, it's hot!".

Let this be an advice. Avoid such highly populated areas and I assure you your experience on ETS2's EU2 will improve dramatically!

It's even funnier for me, because I make digital art as a hobby and God knows how many times I've messed up a line for stuff like sneezing. lol

I just finished watching Rogue One. Though it's technically a spin-off, it should be considered Episode 3.5. I found it awesome! Got me pumped up to watch Episode 4 - A New Hope, once again!  

/!\SPOILER ALERT/!\

All Star Wars fans should watch this movie. It's great! ^-^ It answers many (if not all) questions I've always had and many I never really knew I had about the plot in the original trilogy quite well! And the ending is the almost perfect tie-in for the beginning of A New Hope.

One word: Internet.

If the silly idea of adding another car to Truckers MP were to become a reality, I wouldn't want anything but this:

Add a ladder accessory to the roof and we'd have the fastest car in the history of the universe, ready to bead any puny Scout, Volvo and Scania combined, any day! 

I finally just completed Tier 2 of the event on ETS2. Now to claim my reward and work on ATS's tiers.
