I just gave the car a quick test drive and I have a question to make:

What are brakes?

lol but seriously, though... You'd think that the cars would brake better/quicker than the trucks because they are so much smaller and lighter but nope. Even at 40 miles they still take forever to come to a full stop. It's as if their tires or the road were made out of butter. Hahah. Any (unloaded) truck will stop way faster.

I might postpone the next episode of Crashes Compilation 22 for a day more just to give a better go with the car. Maybe I record a full trip with commentary on this Monday.

My actual only complaint about these cars (besides being limited to the free roam servers) is that you can't take on loads to deliver (trailer pulling is not allowed) so basically the only thing you can do with them is go for a ride.

Any of you who play Rocket League have been having trouble changing your car preset in between matches (when one ends and the score results are shown) since the last update that introduced the new crate? Ever since that update I can't change my cars without going back to the main menu and into the Garage. I change the preset and it just keeps the same car when the match starts. Like, I play the first match with the DeLorean then after it ends, I change to my Dodge and when the match starts, I'm still using the DeLorean. I'd like to know if anyone else is having this issue, please.

I hardly ever make any thread here on the forums. But I just made one and you might be interested.

My brave dragon DAF (the second one) has finally reached 50,000 KM of total driven distance and as usual, it is time to have a different truck (for variety) as my main truck.

Thank you my brave DAF for all your good service during all this long time we've been on the road together! Have some well-deserved vacation with your buddies in the garage.

And now, for my next main truck, at least until the new Scania arrive, perhaps, this Iveco I bought sometime back in 2016 and been meaning to drive for ages. It's still a brand new top of the line Hi-Way with the highest specs that particular truck can have in vanilla ETS2.

I might change the paintjob soon, though. If I do it will most likely be to the Draco paintjob (same my DAF is using) but I am not sure yet. I'll make up my mind eventually.

And when the Scania comes, I might be driving one like this around for a while. It kinda looks fancy, I like how it looks!

Gave mouse steering another go. A few laps around the Arizona racetrack. With a car, this time. Still don't like it. Can use it just fine. I just don't like it. But at least I discovered that I can pull out a couple tricks with it so that's neat. But for regular driving, it's keyboard steering for me! Until I can afford a wheel, at least.

I don't know what to say about this video... Thought of making some joke but... Eeehh, just watch it!

I have found what might be THE best road in Oregon! It's so pretty!!! 

Anyone having issues with picking a load from WoT? Nothing that I pick gets synced, even on singleplayer. It just sits on  "Syncing your progress" for as long as I let it. If I cancel it, WoT loses connection. :\ I still couldn't do a single event delivery because of it.

My ping is normal and my internet connection is stable and not having any issues, currently and yet I keep on losing connection to the server for some reason. It simply says the connection has been broken. What gives?! Anyone else experiencing any problems, currently? In particular with ATS's EU#2.

YouTube's copyright algorithm is really full of horse poop. I just uploaded a video of a new artwork I am working on and YouTube has identified the first song I put on the video as a copyrighted song. I'd understand it if the song YouTube claims it is was the actual song I put in the video but nope! The music it claims infringes copyright is something completely different by a completely different musician. What the hell?

Now I'll have to edit the video again, find another suitable song, render it all over again and then upload it again. Such a waste of time!

Yay! I made it into the commemorative racing event.  And it looks like I'll be competing against @Blazie and @Kravatie on Group 6! Good luck, us!  I hope none of us will tip over and/or take so much damage that the truck dies.

I haven't driven any Volvo for at least two or three years. Soon it will be time to see what this beast can do under my command!

This is an interesting development!

Someone suggested me to check if different tires affect the top speed (for that performance test thing I am working on) and I just did. I tested two different tire sets on the same flat and straight stretch of road.

I got the top speed I collected from the first test I did with a Volvo FH16 4x2 using a certain specs configuration and equipped with the 385/65 Michelin X Line Energy F tires set on all wheels. That gave this Volvo a top speed of 152 KM/h. Next I swapped the tires for the base-game 315/70 Runner tires set (which are smaller than the Michelin I chose) and that gave the exact same Volvo with the exact same specs but different tires a top speed of 143 KM/h.

Isn't that interesting!? Who would have thought! Turns out the DLC tires aren't simply an aesthetic thing. They actually do have physics/mechanics of their own!

It is done. My order has come. Just got delivered to my headquarters in Dortmund.
