    Bus tickets are currently so expensive in my city and the quality of the vehicles and their comfort so poor that it is actually cheaper and more worth to buy fuel and drive your own car to whenever you need instead of taking a bus. :\ How ridiculous is that! Seriously! I spend less money with fuel and maintenance for my '86 Fiat Prêmio monthly than I used to spend with bus fares to work. And mind you, that's an old car.

      the national bus carrier here are on strike :rolleyes: only some private bus companys going atm meaning alot of travel problems for people :unsure:

      Well here, we have a card system that replaced the ticket system a few years ago. All you need to do is top up your card to etc $10 and you can travel around all forms of public transport. It only takes money you've topped up, and It's an average amount of $3 to the CBD and back
