  1. @KrazyMudkip I agree that the 'trusted pilot cars' will never happen but the 'cars should be for admins only' is a bit overkill. All things considered, some people can drive very well in the cars, myself included in that list, you have the right to disagree or agree with my statement. However, most car drivers think they have the right to troll, break and just generally mess with you and your TruckersMP experience. I think if people in cars are court once or twice trolling or driving in a reckless manner then they should have some code written on their profile that gives them a temporary or permanent ban from having the car or its accessories, lots of you will disagree with this statement, but it's not a bad suggestion and could fix the current troll count. Please note what I typed in the last sentence doesn't mean they get a ban from the game, but a line of code telling the server to kick them if they log in to the queue or authenticating screen whilst in a car or with any of its accessories, meaning they are forced to be in trucks for a limited or permanent time making it less troll packed and more of what the game was made to do in 2012. I fully understand the hate for my comment and I will know lots of you will hate me for this statement but as I said, "It's not a bad suggestion!".

  2. I really like this suggestion since you've laid out lots of scenarios for what could be done. I heavily support this post since it does improve the current system which itself isn't 100% perfect for all.

I hope everybody has support for this topic since I with basic coding knowledge would say it's not too hard changes to make it work 100%. Good luck and I will support you all the way to addition in the change log.

  3. I'm all for this kind of thing but with TruckersMP current layout it's simply impossible to do. They also have one main developer (@mwl4) and another in training (@Kat_pw) which is the reason why covering new SCS patches takes a week or two. I'm doing my GCSE (UK) until 2019 and computer science is one of them so I will be learning code and will try things out even if TruckersMP staff take 0% notice of my trials. #Soon #GL

  4. As a veteran of TruckersMP, I feel that removing or merging large/unused servers, is never the answer since people then come up with other excuses to have them return individually. Maybe if they actually split the load of the servers (like EU#2 into two servers then maybe players experiences would be better?) If you don't get the previous sentence I'm suggesting the shrinking of server slots and splitting big ones into two or three.

I understand heavily that this will not go down well with almost all the TruckersMP community because it means less big events (like Calais-Duisburg/Europoort-Rotterdam) and fewer people seen on the road than the small amount we currently have now, but it would reduce server load, allowing for a smoother gameplay experience for all players on these new smaller slot servers and allow all players to have a lower troll rate (meaning less chance of being trolled by another player), this gives players a chance to play the game the bought! I'm not saying that your suggestion is bad, just not what I would choose to do if it was my decision.

    Looking forward to any response(s).

  5. The 'Scout' car has been in development for the same length of time as TruckersMP, why would they cease development at this late juncture? As others have stated clearly, just play on ETS2 EU#1 and you'll only see the odd Police car with an Administrator inside. No regular players will be found in anything other than a truck on this server.

    Happy Trucking,

  6. Great News. I always support darker themes on websites and technology so it's not as stressful on the human eye (normally during night-time hours). I haven't found many bugs or problems with the public test build. I will keep using it even if it is early access with lots of issues which need ironing out as soon as possible.

  7. I like the idea of this but I have one thing against it, the servers can't have auto kick or ban issuing bots so that means this request (similar to others over the years) is almost impossible to add at present.

    Sorry

  8. I do not think you have a problem it is just the fact that Europe #2 is mostly full and that means there is a large queue to join the game. I get the same message all the time. Just wait around for a bit until your account it picked to join and get slot.

    Hope I helped.

Hello, when comes the update for the Schwarzmüller DLC, would be already long overdue than the switch off of EU 1

    Cheers

Don't worry they'll have a perfectly good explanation for why it's not been done yet. It's likely something in the coding. Patients is key! :)

  10. Thank you for your hard work finally released! :)

Player levels are low because no noticeable gameplay updates come out for players.

We are waiting for synced jobs (multiplayer-sided, now WOT was faster), creating own companies, server sided accounts, etc. for ages.

I know these features are hard to implement but I don't see any progess on that.

I agree that bugfixes and thing like that have 100% priority but we want to see new things as normal players for a better multiplayer experience.

Furthermore features like double-trailers get showed but never implemented because of the missing options for it (with a server-sided account system and a level for double-trailers this would be possible and they wouldn't cause so much trouble, right?).

And trust me, that's not just my opinion.

Agreeable but he's missed lots of details. :(
