  1. I had to jump on to make a comment. Since being away from the community and living my life, I realised how pedantic some of the rules really were with regards to this mod. Especially given the fact that someone could very easily be banned for a mistake that they’ve made, and it’s not an official mod. Someone may have unintentionally made 5 mistakes in a row and bam, permanent ban. It was an overly pedantic system, and I’ll leave it at that. During my time in the team, I always had people who regretted what they did leading up to a permanent ban. There wasn’t much that they could do other than beg for remorse via the feedback systems, which wasn’t a healthy option for such a large community, and did lead to significant ban evasion. Trolling is an issue however, and will always remain an issue with this mod. It’s the same on other role playing games. Just look at FiveM for instance, there are frequent rule breakers and that’s the reason we have our GMs. A lot of people are acting like the entire punishment system is disappearing and it’s simply untrue, the GMs are in place to do their job, and anyone caught rule breaking will still be punished. I disagree with the insinuation that people would just return with the intention of trolling. If I had the intention of trolling, I wouldn’t break the rules to then get banned for 90 days, leave the ban to then get another 90 day ban. It’s completely irrational and just a waste of time. I have to question anyone’s mental capacity if they just want to waste their own time like that just to get banned again.

Just to add some more context to @Owen.'s answer: VR runs on a separate version of the game to the standardised game - To maintain two versions of the game subsequently will eat into a lot of our development team's time with supporting updates, ensuring any glitches within the mod are fixed, etc. Maybe when SCS Software stops updating Euro Truck Simulator 2, can the team move to support further versions of the game, including on VR, Mac, Linux - But as of right now, it is simply not feasible for us given the heavy influx of updates from SCS.

  17. If the above don't work, please consider downloading and installing Windscribe. Then, try connecting to the UK server (most reliable in my experience) and restart the launcher download.

  20. Hey there @chippercards. With regards to 504, it typically occurs when the website traffic is high, so just wait a while and it should work fine. Regarding the password change, please make a ticket here and we can endeavour to solve your issue. Obviously with it being confidential information, we cannot process it via the forums in public.

  22. Hey there. Do you get an error message when you crash? If possible, screenshot it, upload it to an image hosting site and post it here. If so, what is it? This will help us diagnose the error and subsequently provide an adequate solution (depending upon if it's a bug, of course).

  24. ^ It hasn't been added as of yet (not for players yet). For future reference with regards to the Suggestion Section, there is a separate area for things that have been added. Just being accepted basically means that it is on the 'To Do' list. As of where it stands in the team right now, I'm not sure - I'd assume it's not high on the priority list right now due to the recent update. Obviously you can use /pinfo, search the player's name into the TMP website and get the ID from the URL or use the log files. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
