As for the last update, MP will auto reconnect if you lose connection so you don't have to close the game and start it again to get online as before. So always pay attention to the notification in the chat about your connection being lost. If that pops up, immediately pull up to a safe spot and stop so you won't risk spawning on someone's face again when your connection returns.
