Hi Joao Rodrigues, racing on public servers is certainly not the direction TruckersMP will be heading in the future. Truck racing is a special event which will only take place on a private server where specific rules have exceptions, is heavily moderated, and organised. Players on the network are always urged to follow the standard rules outside of an event such as this.

During the evening, we were excited to find that our community has a lot of very skilful drivers. For some, it was a nerve-racking and stressful experience, as players were gripping their wheel firmly in hopes to be one of the first three to cross the finish line. After four hours of intense racing action, there could only be one winner. We had to eliminate those that fell behind and bring only the best, one step closer to the Crown. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are proud to announce the first TruckersMP Racing Champion is ... Slavik_32RUS! Slavik fought hard at the wheel, and certainly deserves the spotlight of our new and first Champion! Along with winning the Crown, he is also the first member of TruckersMP to receive an Award on his profile - check it out! And of course, he will receive a hefty £50 Steam Gift Card to splash out on the Steam store! Shout Outs We would like to thank every participant for taking their time to join the new series, and really hope you had a blast. If you were around for our Summer Weekend event from July last year, you may remember our little Grand Prix events. We received a lot of great reactions from this, and have since then have been trying to keep our excitement behind closed doors, as we knew exactly what to do next! Taking place this Sunday 17th March 2019, our very first Racing Championship series will begin. Greetings Players, We know this is an announcement you've been waiting to come for a while... So here it is! Real Operations is certainly our most popular event, with the previous edition seeing over 1500 participants! If you're unfamiliar with how this event works, the community join together for the most exciting, realistic, simulation-packed experience TruckersMP has to offer! The sixth edition is coming this weekend, with lots of brand new operations and scenarios planned. When you participate, you'll experience a variety of operations from; wild getaway chases, unique special transport, custom roadworks, thrilling crashes, emergency response calls, and border checks. This is an event you do not want to miss! Join us on Sunday 24th February 2019 from 17:00 - 21:00 UTC (Alternative Timezones) to be part of this huge multiplayer trucking simulator experience. Real Operations (V6) will take place on Euro Truck Simulator 2, in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Germany. For some of you that have been in the community for a few years, you may be pretty excited to see Europoort will be getting a lot of attention! As the event can get very popular, you will be happy to know there are nine (9) cities available to meet-up. Real Operations Zone: In our Real Operations events, the departure and destination is up to you! Participants are welcome to drive in any direction along the highlighted roads shown above. Some basic rules: A truck and trailer are required to participate. Please do not use a car as these are reserved for the event staff. Welcome to TruckersMP, glad to finally have you here. You will need to own a truck firstly. You can then take any freight trailer (going to/from any city). Feel free to drive to the departure location, or teleport in single player (search for tutorials on how to do this). New Mexico DLC is required to drive on the route. The CB radio is not used for official communication, all instructions are posted via the in-game chat.

For most parts of the world, you may currently be having a lot of cold weather and snowfall. You will be glad to know then, that our upcoming event is a convoy through the hot State of New Mexico, in American Truck Simulator! Join us this Saturday 26th January 2019 at 18:00 UTC (Alternative Timezones) Meeting up at the large rest stop to the West of Albuquerque, we will embark on a convoy through the States' mountains, farms, and the Chihuahuan Desert. The convoy route will also include the newly added Clifton route US 191. We will arrive in style at the destination of Tucumcari's large rest stops, which is also a great opportunity for a photo-shoot, if you choose to stick around! As always, the convoy duration is estimated to be 90 minutes. It may be longer if you are towards the rear of the convoy. No breaks are scheduled, but you are welcome to pull into a safe place should you require a rest. We look forward to seeing you there for our first convoy of 2019! Greetings, Throughout the year TruckersMP has seen many new and exciting events, which thousands of you have participated in. As we move closer towards the end of the year, we come to the point of needing an event bigger than any other this year... An event which allows us to properly celebrate our success in 2018, and go out with a bang. I hope you're starting to feel festive, truckers, as I am proud to announce that the TruckersMP tradition of a 12-hour Christmas Convoy will be returning, taking place on Sunday 16th December 2018! That's right, this Sunday we will not be hosting a 90-minute convoy, but 12-hours, consisting of 5 convoy routes! Each route is scheduled to run for 2-hours, with 30 minute breaks in-between. Take a look at all of the routes we have planned below! Not sure when the convoys will be running in your local time? Check out our Timezone Converter. The full convoy will be a massive 5153 miles, or 8293 kilometres. Convoy control will be present to guide you throughout this massive convoy, to ensure you do not get lost! If this wasn't enough to get you into the festive spirit, then we have something else that may! The friendly guys over at SCS Software would also like to share the festive joy in our community. They have provided us with a lot of ETS2 DLC Steam keys to gift out to lucky participants throughout the 12-hour event, so don't miss out! We have hauled on many roads - both in the States and Europe this year, but there is one part of the map we haven't visited in a long time... Going East! Our last 'Public Convoy' was in June, so we felt it was long overdue for another one! Join us this Saturday 24th November 2018 at 18:00 UTC (Alternative Timezones) in a good old classic convoy across Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. Meeting up in Gdańsk, there are multiple companies such as WGCC, LKW, or if you'd rather meet up just outside the city, eAcres. As always, the convoy duration is estimated to be 90 minutes. It may be longer if you are towards the rear of the convoy. No breaks are scheduled, but you are welcome to pull into a safe place should you require a rest. See you there! @grundi2601 thank you so much for your suggestion to remove the permanent night environment. This is a feature primarily introduced to our Hallows Haul event that took place on Sunday. We thought to help set the theme for the time of year, to keep the feature enabled until celebration for Halloween ends. It is likely that today being Halloween, the environment will be restored to normal tomorrow. Due to this I have decided to reject your suggestion. Again thank you for your time to write this.
