  1. I have tried using a VPN but that makes the issue worse, adding further delay and variability in ping times. I will continue logging the ping differences, but I did notice this morning at noon my time (3:00am GMT) the ping jumped from 350ish to 450ish within ten minutes, as if some configuration of EU2 was changed.
  2. Living in and playing ETS2 from Australia entails living with high ping times. My normal ping time to EU2 would be 350-360ms. Recently my ping times to EU2 have jumped to 450-460ms at times, while ping times to EU1 are still 350-360ms. This is odd since the EU1 and EU2 servers are located fairly close to each other geographically, with EU1 IP address based in Paris, and EU2 IP address based in Roubaix. Is there any reason at TMP's end why these differences should be noticeable ?
  3. Nope, all is good in the trucking world, thnx.
  4. OK, thanks. Good to know the devs are on it.
  5. This issue is still current since the DLC has been fixed, and I've narrowed down the list of paintjobs that I have the issue with. The following paintjobs work OK: 56905 Bright Yellow, P3164 Rose Gray, P3285 Violet, P3599 Gold, 771425 Pirate Red Pearl, P3036 Black, Custom Colour, Custom Metallic Colour, Big Sur Memorial, Juggernaut, Divided, Stripe, Stars and Stripes, Crystal Dream, Thunderbird, Night Rider, Seal Team Tribute, Viking Knots, Horses, We Were First, Burning Skull (I didn't test all colours as it seemed plain colours were OK). The following paintjobs result in me getting kicked every time I use them: Insight, Union, Flair, Horizon, Rush, Serenity, Aurora, Infinity For testing I have been using the US server. LKW Venomous Leo was having the same issue as I, at the same service station, when I first reported the issue. Cheers.....
  6. When I take my new Volvo to service and repaint it with some paintjobs from the standard palette, I get kicked for unsupported paintjob as soon as I get back in the game. Anybody know why ?
  7. How is it nobody is mentioning the new 60kph speed limiter in towns since the new update. This seems like the Nanny State is reaching further into ETS2. BAD IDEA imho. Since the cars and their drivers seem to cause a large percentage of the aggro and collisions in ETS2, I had hoped they would eventually be removed. And now caravans !! What next, mobility scooters all over the place ?
  8. Just saw El1eZombiezHD's answer to SaatanaPerkele about this matter at I'll just have to wait.............
  9. TMP has updated and now accepts ETS2 ETS2 has updated itself to TMP refuses to open and demands I can see no way on the Steam Betas tab to go back to, the only option is to go back to 1.26.x.x or stay with 1.27.x.x. How do I go back to from ?
  10. ATS works fine in SP mode (Windows 7), but while loading MP the first SCS software splash screen with the whirling centre animation is white rather than black, while the next American Truck Simulator screen is normal. When the load reaches the launchpad screen, the screen looks normal but the cursor is frozen and although the game doesn't seem to have frozen (according to Task Manager), nothing works and the only way to kill the game is via Task Manager. This is the error message Windows generates when killing the game via Task Manager: Description: A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.
