  1. Go ahead and report them, your action was 100% just, or you might want to read the rules beforehand, just to be on the safe side.
  2. We are not even half way there, 8 cities have been rebuilt and 3 smaller ones added. I don't know if anything else will be added, but existing cities yet to be done are spread all over, including west, south and east of Germany: Bremen Osnabrück Dortmund Duisburg Düsseldorf Köln Kassel Mannheim München Magdeburg Berlin Lepzig Dresden All these these cities have been only reskinned, little bit moved around (like Dortmund jumped over the autobahn) and adjusted for new road layout, but still have the same unassuming layout and prefabs as before. Just think of Hamburg, Frankfurt and Nürnberg, which had been probably changed most significantly initially, but are now completely rebuilt from scratch. And then there are whole countries waiting ...
  3. Don't know who the child is here. Rules related to driving offences are a joke, written like a preamble or something with refferences to real life laws of which 99% are not enforced and their violations are tolerated in almost every situation, often not worth even a kick. Add to that almost nobody is even remotely familiar with traffic laws, but when it's time to report or complain, everyone si suddenly ace attorney. Why not make rules contain specific actions, factors and conditions, their combinations, which one will always leads to actual punishment, aka ban, which one will always leads to a kick only, aka inconvience, and everything else not listed is completely ignored. Wouldn't that make everything crystal clear and better, less uselsess reports, less work for moderators? I kown rules say the punishments and their length are handled by moderators at their discrecion, but that's not completely true, moderators still have to follow certain guidelines, which ordinary players have no idea about. All the OP is saying is to make rules actually say something, instead of leaving everybody guessing with trial and error, just look at report system which is constantly overloaded. Why is that you ask? Because people like the OP or me , or any rule abiding simulation players are flooding it with useless reports when we nearly do not exist on the servers? I assure you, it's the other way around, it's the reckless people reporting recless people that floods the system. TMP, in their infallible wisdom, has resorted to reducing report limit, again, to combat this (which will make these people to ban themselves from report system faster), instead of adjuting rules according to the changes and directions they are pushing forward and the majority of player base and its "playstyle" they have and are aiming towards. And you can keep comforting yourself with "5 milllions users" or whatever, it's "registered" users, including permanently banned, multi account users, inactive or deleted acounts, because TMPID is never recycled. What is the actual real number of unique active TMP players, I can only guess, but ETS2 sold about 13 million copies on Steam in ten years since release and peaks around 40k players daily (all time peaked a little over 60k), comparable TMP stats are at your disposal, you will clearly see real number is just a fraction of number of registered users, how small is only up to TMP to reveal, of course they weill never do that. Honesty is all that TMP needs, being honest about the goals, about the rules, about what it actually is they want to be and stop pretending and trick people into believing false ideals. Then I will stop bashing and finally and happily gtfo of here.
  4. Hello, First of, TruckersMP has nothing to do with World of Trucks events, and second, everything is working as intended. Reason why only 6 deliveries out of 13 or 14 counted towards personal goal of 10 deliveries to or from Oklahoma is, because according to event rules, each must be made to or from a different city: "When a player completes a delivery to or from 10 different Oklahoma cities, they will achieve their personal goal." This is how these events have always been and you need to keep track of which city you have already been to, for example, you needed deliveries to 20 unique cities for "Cruising Iberia" event, but there is about 50 of them. Since there is exactly 10 cities in Oklahoma, you need to make delivery to or from each one of them, according to your log book, you've made deliveries to or from following cities: Oklahoma City Guymon Tulsa McAlester Ardmore Woodward To complete the personal goal, you need remaining 4 cities: Clinton (you made a delivery from this city, but it didn't count, since the distance was under 100 miles) Enid Idabel Lawton Each of them (except Clinton) contributed towards community goal of 111 000 000 miles, and you can keep contributing after you have completed personal goal if you so choose, as long as the delivery is WoT contract with destination or origin within Oklahoma, untill the event concludes or the milestone is reached.
  5. I looked through the roster of game management and I don't recognize 3/4 of them, I have never seen them in game or the official events I attended some years ago, not even here on the forum, maybe they are only active on discord, which I ignore. People come and go, that's how it is, some have left for personal reason, some may disagreed with leader dicisions or got tired (they don't get paid afterall), then TMP needs to fill up the ranks however they see fit. Not every experienced long time member is interested in becoming a moderator, I know I've never been and I'm definitely not now. Funnily, I have spotted one name, which belongs to one the few users I have blocked on the forums, because they really annoyed me (this individual is avid supporter of recent changes and type of person that twist your every argument and reacts only with whatabuotism), and this person is now on game moderation team. I guess this reflects that you are much more likely to be accepted if you show support of the leadership and their decisions, if you criticize them and show you have opinions that are incompatible with their efforts, well, they will not like to have you.
  6. Yeah, it's since sunday at least, and of course everyone on the team knows about it, they just didn't bother about any announcement beforehand, can't wait reading it for laughs. Voted "I don't really care, doesn't bother me", because I don't play on TMP anymore. The only thing that I find worth logging on the server again is the job dispatcher which I can use to quickly complete those stupid steam achievements that require specific cargo delivered to/from specific places (that are otherwise based on random luck), and if I would do that, it would be NCZ server, so nobody can screw me over. The reason behind this, in my opinion, is just continuation of the process of turning TMP closer to arcade/casual gameplay, becasue they correctly assessed that's where they can attract more players, which in turn are less likely to make reports. There will be no need for higher report limit, the minority that cares about rules and simulation gameplay is tiny and will feel even more discouraged making reports after softing up the ruels and the policy of "no or minor damage = decline", those that create useless reports will get banned from the system very quickly. Personally, I don't think there is even any incentive reporting anyone on TMP, for what, a revenge? Waste of my time, they will be back in a few days, then I will never see them again (I wasn't C-D regular), becasue chances of meeting the same player again in the huge map in short period of time is virtually zero. With lower report limit, chances of players being reported will also be lowered, avoiding longer punishment, which results in more players on the server, it's a win win situation for almost everyone, including moderators, just not the simulation players, but those are irrelevant anyway.
  7. Attack? Now I see what's so important about Promods to you, when you say "1000 people around". You just want to drive on Kirkenes road without delay. Obviously, you know how it goes, but maybe being deprived of your favorite passtime makes you too sensitive? No matter, I have nothing more to add.
  8. TruckersMP has silently reduced maximum allowed number of reports anyone can create from 20 down to 10.

This is about third time they have done this. What do you think is next?

At the time there wasn't limit, I reached somewhat over 200 (really), then it was taken away down to 30, then 20 and now back where I started.

What a waste of time on my part, I guess I will never bother again, provided I will get that itch to return, but TMP doesn't seem to "want" the likes of me back.

  9. TMP has stated many times they will not support multiple game versions, and it's probably not even possible. Learn to be patient, this will not happen. If you are so desperate, you can always downgrade and play singleplayer or convoy with a friend.
  10. Only if saying simply " Sorry, I have my reasons" is acceptable answer, becasue nobody can be forced to speak if they don't want to.
  11. Wrong forum, either go to SCS Forum, or use mods. Nevertheless, SCS will never do that, because there are no trucks in the game that would produce visible smoke (all at least Euro V emission standard), unless on fire or experiencing a serious technical failure. And white condensed water vapours that you may see in the cold weather before the engine heats up would be pointless without actual cold weather in the game.
  12. Maybe, but it's only check for ownership for purposes to gain access to the service, and supports other platforms, not only Steam, presumably because there is limited free version of this service, so you actually have to pay for the games (Most of these type of services aren't free and you don't purchase games individually, but get access to a library for the duration of subscription) The game is still executed remotely on a server, not on your computer, it doesn't even need to be installed on your computer, so there's a problem with TMP unable to access game executable that isn't installed in the specified path.
  13. Not possible - TMP requires that you own a Steam account with the game and any DLC, which is permanently linked to a TMP account. With cloud gaming services, you only rent games, you never really own anything.
  14. No, the problem is not in the retarder.
  15. The fact that this is a 150km/h server makes it even more laughable. Surely, people join this server expecting exemplary "by the book" driving maneuvers
  16. TMP and recklessness are a synonym, nothing done about the scout car would change anything.
  17. @[MCG] RedWolf [CZ] ~ Three times the charm (thirds time's a charm) je idiom. V češtine je to "Do třetice všeho dobrého".
  18. A proven fact is that majority cares more about collisions with as many players around as possible, than it cares about speed, and you can see this in servers population. If you are like that, then you have to live with what you are given, I don't think TMP will change anything about their main attraction untill they start loosing players significantly, which isn't happening. And if you are not like that, and you don't care about getting sim1 back, don't care about single road, can't stand recklessness that is the norm of TMP, you want real simulation with traffic everywhere on the map, not empty roads, then you have left.
  19. That would defeat the whole purpose why this race track route exists on TMP, although it shoud exist only on RACE2 SIM2 server. Maybe something needs to be done that would finally convince maniacs to move to that server.
  20. Just no, why would you do this to your truck? Ugly and highly unrealistic. Nobody in real life makes tyres like this, because barely anybody would buy them, besides they fit only very old cars, when tyres were actually made like this and not painted, the white color (zinc oxide) was actually in the rubber compound. Painting the tyres is waste of time and paint, because modern tyres have lot of engraved markings (uneven surface) and are flexible, and you'll end up damaging environment with dry paint flakes in a very short time. Altering the wall surface to make flat surface for paint (shaving, grinding, etc.) would render tyres damaged and is therefore illegal. It always baffles me, why even SCS made paid tyre packs for ETS2 (Michelin, Goodyear) default to white painted markings, like there is anything like that in reality, however, they managed to correct this with Goodyear pack for ATS. Well, at least I can "unpaint" them, but still, it's a mystery.
  21. After discovering this: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=201930, I can't play without it. He also has lots of sounds for ETS2, just check his youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@KapitanKriechbaum If you though those stock sounds were any good, this will change your mind.
  22. Provided simulation server existed, cause it never really did. What you really suggest is a division, something TMP (and many casual players) don't want and is afraid of, co-existence of two different more or less incompatible communities. Instead TMP clings to the idea of one server for all, this "Back to basics", aka MMO GTA free-for-all wreckfest, is the next (final?) step in "Road to simulation", an attempt to regain players and avoid split in the community (which caused me to leave). I don't think there is still anyone left interested in any of this simulation nonsense, within the people running the show, so good luck with that, and I would take as an insult, if I had to undergo testing by same people who created the current rules and servers.
  23. Licences are not a problem, OP is right, there are some real companies in Promods and TMP has no problem running a public server with it. The problems are generally the same as with any other mod - author permissions, increase of download size and increase of required work after game updates which usually break most mods.
