Hey guys! I've just recorded 1000 hours of playtime on ETS2, and to celebrate the moment, I decided to go to a big city, in this case Malmo in southern Sweden. It's taken me nearly 7 years to achieve this milestone, and so I would like to thank everyone in the community for making this possible. 

I would like to come on here and thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday today! It's been a difficult year with many twists and turns, but I am looking forward to finishing my degree course next year. And hopefully return to the team someday...

Exactly two years ago to this day, January 19th, you have taken over as the lead Project Manager from Scar.

Since that time you have achieved a lot of things that have hugely benefitted the project and its community - some of the most important decisions included the introduction of the TruckersMP Patreon, as well as partnerships in October 2019, to contributing to the easing of Save Editing rules, and more recently, the appointment of several Project Coordinators, who have previously served as experienced upper staff members and can help to further drive along positive change in TruckersMP. 

Therefore, I would like to serve my congratulations on reaching this milestone in your TruckersMP staff career, and I wish to see you through another year of Project Management.

The port of Varna contains one of the most unique unloading places in vanilla ETS2 in my opinion. 

What a great way to end a problem-free trip around the Road to the Black Sea DLC. 

I made this status to assure everyone that everything is OK from my side again, for now. 

Just to let everyone know that I am back playing games again after six months of not playing anything truck-related.

I am currently taking things easy and playing ETS2 single player (1.38 if you're wondering), so that I can get used to driving trucks again without the pressures of other players, and to get used to the road traffic rules again. In my next session I am going to play a bit of ProMods 2.50 and get used to the new areas there, and it's also a good way to pass the time, until the 1.38 update for TruckersMP comes out. 

In any case, I hope to see some players that I used to meet in-game sometime in the future.

I just want to come on here to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes that have been offered on my profile as I start a new decade in my life, turning 20 years old today. 

As far as my future on TruckersMP goes, I plan to get back in-game soon, as it's been a really long time since I've last been out on the roads, and perhaps take part in the Q&A session as well to get back into the rhythm of things again. The positive times that I've had here will definitely be back again.   

After two years and two months as an Event Manager, where you have done some exceptionally good work across the board, it is now time to start a new quest, a much bigger quest that involves the future of the project.

I would like to say congratulations on your transfer to Game Moderation Management, this is a well deserved transfer given that you have showed some strong skills as a GML and CM. Keep up the work that you have showed over all those years in the team! 

Former Love Island presenter Caroline Flack has died at the age of 40... 

I honestly feel so sad to see the lives of previously well-known personalities suddenly end like this... and I give my condolences to Caroline's family who are going through this very difficult time today.

I've just been to January's official convoy, and I have to say that the route that has been planned has been quite well thought, with wide and varied scenery and width of roads, and overall, I really enjoyed being at the convoy and meeting so many people that I know of from my time in the team. 

I hope to return to another official convoy when the next one comes up, and hopefully with less lag on my end.

I would like to say congratulations to @Peeters Pyatrow for becoming TruckersMP's first Trial Translator and to @Jamie R for becoming the first Trainee Supporter! 

Today I had what could be one of the most difficult journeys I have ever done in TruckersMP since my journey from Krakow to Dover on Europe 2 in the base game in February 2018, as I was running into many bizarre situations along the way. This video that I am about to show showcases one of those situations.

On my way to the ferry to Hirtshals, I was passing by a small town in eastern Iceland when I noticed a driver going the other direction that was moving into my lane. What happened was a bizarre crash on my part where my truck stopped dead from hitting the pavement... 

The wider incident was unavoidable in any case but the crash was not supposed to happen in this way which is what makes this crash bizarre, however, nothing worse (such as an engine malfunction) happened to the vehicle.

This video showcases one of the most intimidating overtakes that I have ever been faced with in my TruckersMP career, a truck driver without a trailer overtaking on one of the tightest bends on the road to Isafjordur in northwestern Iceland. Miraculously I have managed to avoid ramming him off and the driver keeps the overtake clean throughout. 

Now if you are wondering how did I get there with a 360hp Renault T, I managed to climb the steep hill north of Holmavik by pure luck because there was no-one else that I could have held up there.

It's not a common sight that you see everyday on the roads of ETS2 - a player that ticks some checkboxes for good driving - speed limits and good use of indicators. Despite a small mistake at the gas station, it's still one of the better players I've seen in my time in TruckersMP. 

This was filmed en-route while doing a trailer job from Lahti to Daugavpils via Sosnovy Bor.

The Paris area is currently experiencing a WOT event, and I've spent a couple of hours trying to get an idea of what the traffic looks like in the surrounding area while describing the particulars of the event. I was en-route to Clermont-Ferrand when the event started up in Paris and wasn't exactly expecting something like this to happen, but I've chosen to at least include some good in my description of the video.

If any of you you were wondering what happened before this, I arrived in Paris the day before the WOT event took place after I took a load from Geneva.
