@GbmbRnmf just try not to use a SD card i think the SD Card slot will stay the issue for time X cause the fans still being near the slot

@GildedSplinter the SD Slot issue is only on the First Gen what was sold in the first half a year in the beginning. the later stage sales did get reworked

@Хидара you can use the Asus ROG ally as a PC but just as console. know you can use a USB-C Hub with a USB-C Power connection to add external things like a keyboard, monitor and mouse like i do sometimes @Butter Bear it's running smooth. ofcourse places like Calais will give some lag but thats normal. but driving in like amsterdam isn't giving me any issues @GbmbRnmf the white version is the first version. the new black one is a bit more powerfull. no clue how they call it but see it as a Gen 2. Can give you a review how it's playing cause the black one will come in next week here.

Will post about What is the ROG ally & Specs Euro Truck Simulator 2 / American Truck Simulator TruckersMP Common issues ROG Ally (2023) RC71L The ROG Ally is a Handheld Console for people who will game at anytime, anywhere. It's a portable design with some great features. The ROG Ally supports mulitple libraries like steam, Xbox game pass, Epic Games and more. You can use your ally on multiple ways too. Handheld as it says but you can also connect it to a TV or use there special XG Mobile External GPU to boost the full system to 4K Gaming. Specs Operating System : Windows 11 Home CPU: AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme ( Zen4 Architecture with 4nm Process, 8 Core / 16 Threads up to 5.10 GHz Boost) GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics ( AMD RDNA 3, 12 CUs, up to 2.7GHz) Display: 7-inch FHD (1920 X 1080) 16:9 / 120Hz Refresh rate / Touchscreen Memory: 16GB LPDDR5 On board ( 6400MT/s Dual Channel) Storage: 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVME M.2 SSD ( Can upgrade it with a SD Card ) There is way more to share about the ROG ally. The list above is the rough line what is usefull in this topic. Euro Truck Simulator 2 / American Truck Simulator The game is a steady game on the ROG Ally. You will run it with a clean 70 / 100 FPS on Ultra settings. Euro Truck simulator 2 / American truck simulator does see that your on a handheld and you will get the Xbox Controller layout. This means it's install and ready to play. You can Edit the buttons to your own needs if you need to change something. On the back of the Asus ROG Ally you will find backbuttons. These buttons are for my use marked as my shifter up and down TruckersMP TruckersMP runs smooth on the Asus ROG Ally. There is nothing to complain about. Make sure you're singleplayer settings are towards your needs. Once your ready to launch TruckersMP it's almost the same as how you will run it on your Laptop or Desktop. The only issue you will find is the Login screen, The Touchscreen and Xbox controller layout isn't working on that page. There is a easy solution for that. Make sure you're opening the Armour Crate (special software on the ROG Ally) so you can tap Login with the touchscreen. On a strange way that works. Once you're loaded in the server you will use it's like cruising around in Singleplayer. You can use all possible options you need. Common issues Common issues with the ROG ally is the Microphone. The CB Radio is hearable but once you will speak over the CB. That isn't always working. You will get a message by Asus that your microphone (onboard one) isn't connected to a Application what may use it. Didn't find a solution how to fix this. If you use discord as main communication it will all work fine. It's maybe a setting between the ROG ally and TruckersMP but not a game breaking issue. Error once you closed the game, This will only come by after TruckersMP had a update. This is also after every update just 1 time. I also didn't find a Solution how to fix this. It's just saying you're game didn't close correctly but doesn't make any effect on your next session. Thanks for reading! hope this is usefull for some people! Questions?
