    TruckersMP Real Operations V4

    Hello everyone,

    On the 6th of May at 17:00UTC we will be hosting our fourth Real Operations event. For a change, we have decided to hold this event on American Truck Simulator. During this event, our staff team will be creating realistic events on the routes shown below. Please note, trucks are the only vehicles allowed to be used by players during the event, the scout cars will not be able to be used.

    You can see the time in your local time at notime.zone, here.

    Realistic events as custom roadworks, police/border controls, fake accidents and a lot of police force showing on the route. Make sure you behave, or you might get pulled over! These random events will be created by our staff team and by our staff team only, no player interference. During this event, there will be no convoy leader. You could drive alone, or drive with a bunch of friends on the planned route while experiencing a higher level of realism simulated by our staff team. You can take a break easily or drive non-stop. Perhaps if you're up for a challenge, why don't you do the return as well? It is up to you! The approximate end time is 3 hours later, it depends on how much staff there is left and how many players are still driving.

    Route Information:

    A couple different routes can be driven during the period of the event, you will find realistic events occurring on each of these routes. Please note, there are multiple starting locations such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, El Centro, San Diego, and Carlsbad. If you see a large amount of players in the initial city that you spawn in, don't hesitate to switch to another city as a starting point. Route 1 RO4Route 2 RO4Route 3 RO4

    Community Success Stories Part 7 - Supporting Charities

    Hi everyone!

     

    Events and convoys are starting to become a regular activity in TruckersMP. There are quite a few players in our community who dedicate lots of time into planning and organizing their own event. While an event or convoy brings together our community, it’s also a perfect occasion to support other organizations. Organizations that could help disabled people or people affected by a certain situation to enjoy Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and plenty of other games as much as you do.

     

    In a perfect situation, everyone is living the ultimate life. In reality, however, this is often not the case. It’s important to support these organizations as everyone deserves as many chances as they need to be happy. Truckers of our own community often support a charity while holding an event or convoy and we feel it’s finally time to shine some light on those people, who we could call heroes.

     

    During the past 4 years of charity events and convoys in TruckersMP, over £10.000,00 has been raised for various organizations that they can use to help people in need. Haulage 64, Drive for Live, Trucking For Cancer, Children in Need, Feed the Need and 24S are a few of those events that helped our community raising this insane amount of money! We are proud to see our community being this supportive and we hope to keep seeing charity events in the bright future.

     

    A trailer for Haulage 64 2018 has been released a few days ago, we invite you to get involved in this amazing event.

    International Women's Day Recognition

    As you may already know today March 8th, is International Women's Day. We decided to recognize this day as we do have quite a few female truckers in our community. Some may ask, what is exactly celebrated during this day? Well, it is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

    Simulation and /Fix

    Hello everyone,

     

    A while ago we asked for your opinion on the /fix command. As we have stated afterwards, only a handful of our average monthly players voted on the poll meaning we didn’t get an ultimate clear view on how you want it command to work.

     

    This resulted in the situation to remain the same. However, after hearing all the voices of the people that voted on the poll, reading reactions on our Facebook page and our official international group and having conversations with individual players, we decided to review it again with great care and we concluded that we had to push one more change to cater those that want to push simulation to another level.

     

    We disabled the /fix command entirely on our simulation servers. Servers that have the speed limiter enabled are being considered as a simulation server, so those who request an event server with the speed limiter enabled will not have this command available.

     

    While this change might bring hope to some of our players, we have no plans to push any other changes in regards to this command at this moment.

You can take a break easily, or drive non-stop to Aberdeen, and why don't you do the return as well in one go? It is up to you! The approximate end time is 2 to 3 hours later, it depends on how much staff there is left and how many players are still driving.

    Public Convoy 28th January 2018

    Hello everyone!

    We hope that your new year is off to a fantastic start, we are here to announce our first Public Convoy for 2018! This event will be held on Sunday January 28th at 18:00 UTC on Euro Truck Simulator 2. This time, we will be driving in the Italia DLC!     The convoy will be open to everyone, There will be convoy control participating, who will guide and make sure nobody gets lost during the event. As the convoy takes place on a dedicated server, the convoy control are allowed to block other roads. Another note: If heavy cargo trailers cause gaps in the convoy, you may be kicked from the server.
