Simple and easy to understand guide to in game fuel conservation.
If are running on empty then use the following tips and tricks and it should all turn out fine;
1. Stick to the in game speed limit, as this will help to reduce your speed which in return saves you fuel.
2. Do not switch your engine off, turning it back on uses lots of fuel.
3. Keep down your revs, redlining your engine wastes fuel.
4. Coast in neutral when possible.
5. Brake smoothly and come to a rolling stop.

1. Disable the automatic on rural and limited access roads, and manually shift 2. Shift at 1200-1300 RPM, you don't really need all that torque 3. If you got analog throttle/brakes, don't floor it 4. Use your map and reduce offramp usage that would require reducing more speed
If you have run out of fuel
1. Roll gently to the side of the road and switch on the hazard warning lights (F key by default).
2. Press F7+Enter, this will bring you to a service station. They will refuel your truck (Only by a small amount), then set your gps to the nearest fuel station and fill up.
How to avoid this happening to you.
1. Fill up regularly.
2. Drive sensibly.
