  1. Not in that sense. I mean more like setting up the barrier so that it's possible to move from the left lane to the right one normally, but not from the right to the left (I mean the main one). And signage is also a very important matter that needs to be considered as well. And there is a no-turn-left sign, but it's very poorly visible; it's all the way at the bottom.
  2. I understand your point, and I agree that drivers should respect the current "no left turn" rule to maintain smoother traffic flow. However, as you've mentioned, not everyone adheres to this, which creates additional chaos. That’s why I believe a slight redesign could be beneficial, such as adding a physical barrier to prevent lane changes in this specific section. It’s not just about signage but also about guiding drivers' behavior in a way that minimizes confusion and forces proper merging. Regarding the "all routes" sign, I think it could be helpful to re-evaluate its placement or clarify its purpose. Some drivers seem to misinterpret it as giving them priority, which adds to the problem. Maybe integrating more direct visual cues, like arrows painted on the road or additional lane-specific signs, could better guide drivers and reduce unnecessary hesitation or conflicts.
  3. I understand what you mean, but for now, there's a no-left-turn rule there, and you can't merge there—you have to drive all the way to the end. However, some drivers don't respect this rule and change lanes despite the restriction, which causes more traffic jams. A slight redesign, such as adding a barrier, could help improve the situation. Your idea is good too, but it's a bit challenging for drivers—I imagined it. Oh, I'll add that some drivers interpret the 'all routes' sign as giving them the right of way, which sometimes causes issues for certain drivers.
  4. Suggestion Name: Clarification of Signage at Parking Exit Suggestion Description: The current signage at the parking exit causes confusion for drivers. The "ALL ROUTES" marking on the road suggests that vehicles are merging onto the main road without restriction. However, the "Give Way" sign indicates the need to yield to other vehicles on the main road. Additionally, this exit appears to lead from a parking area, which generally requires vehicles to give priority to traffic already on the main road. This conflicting signage contributed to a collision in which I was involved. To resolve this: -The "ALL ROUTES" marking should be revised or removed to clarify that vehicles exiting the parking area must yield. -Clearer signage should be added at the parking exit to align with the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (Article 10), which requires road signs and markings to provide unambiguous instructions. https://ibb.co/1K2Wgx5 Why should it be added?: The conflicting signage creates a high risk of accidents by providing ambiguous instructions to drivers. Updating the signs would: -Ensure drivers exiting the parking area understand their obligation to yield to traffic on the main road. -Prevent future incidents caused by misinterpretation. -Align the signage with international road safety standards. I would also like to add that this area could benefit from a structural redesign. Currently, many drivers from the right lane switch to the left lane, causing confusion and potential collisions. To address this issue, I suggest implementing physical measures, such as barriers, curbs, or additional signage, to prevent drivers in the right lane from switching to the left lane. This change would significantly improve safety and traffic flow in this location.
