  1. +1 - This is a great way to judge other players.
  2. A detection system for the warning blimps can be programmed, where if a truck suddenly receives a lot of damage, it triggers a warning blimp. A whole bunch of flashing warning blimps on a road will let the oncoming driver know "There's a clusterbump up ahead." +1
  3. It's actually rubberbanding. Don't know why we use the term 'desyncing' - since desyncing, atleast for the communities I'm from - is when the game can't keep it self in sync with the server - be it timing or an outcome differed from the server. So the client ends up being disconnected. In this case, it's the server keeping the player in synced - and updating. Your friend might either have bad lag to the server (ping =/= network lag) or has low framerates / a poor computer performance.
  4. The Renault's dash is amazing - but I was getting tired of the Magnum's boxy look. The Premium's air brakes 'hiss' sound is way too loud for me.
  5. The Stralis and Hi-Way -- to me -- feels the same. You don't get the different options of the cab as you get with the Stralis. But the Hi-Way looks like a better truck. I'm also in for the Iveco Club.
  6. It's mostly 'cause the game time is sort of wildly different in Multiplayer than it is in Singleplayer. So your drivers might have a chance to give you some money once in a blue moon. Not as often, or reliable as Singleplayer.
  7. Only in singleplayer currently. Bound to be changed when Beta rolls around.
  8. Iveco Stralis Hi-Way. Here's a link/picture to it in my Single Player game using ProMods. In Multiplayer, I have the truck similarly setup to the one in Single Player, save for the body LEDs and paint job. Also, I use a different transmission in Single Player - gives my Hi-Way a fighting chance going up hill. In Multiplayer, I just gun it. I can't wait for the new sounds in the upcoming patch for ETS2. I tried the beta - and it was beautiful.
  9. I'm leaning a bit to Child's Play as well. That's me though - some kids in hospitals are left there for months - left with nothing but a TV. Some form of entertainment will be good for mind and soul. Give them an emotional fighting chance. That's me though.
  10. Joking, and trying to get a virus on your computer.
  11. It doesn't matter if it's a small charity or a large one, as long as it goes to a good cause. Anything from Child's Play Charity to the Red Cross will be beneficial.
  12. Uhm, it's actually impossible to steal someone's IP. As it's the internet provider who provides the IP automatically. Even then, Teamspeak uses a ID based upon the computer and installation. Everyone's ID is different - there is no identical ID. You can copy an ID from your computer and put it on another, but you need to tell Teamspeak to save the ID. Over all, ignore him.
  13. .. I keep seeing that, is it a trend or?
  14. I understand completely. However my last attempt to get into a city has caused me to crash repeatably. This Skin-crashing ordeal can be used mischeviously.
  15. Maybe. But unbeknownst to me - the Christmas Skin crashes people. I thought there was something wrong with the server when everyone around me was disappearing / stopped / has 0ms ping. After reading on the forum, I felt guilty and now I refuse to get on 'till its fixed.
  16. After the recent discovery that hey, Christmas Skins crashes people (.. oops), I refuse to get on 'till both the lights and the Christmas Skin crash thingy is fixed.
  17. The Multiplayer mod needs to get this fixed. You can't do anything .Even having the DLC will still cause you to crash.
  18. They're not synced? I was sure they were. How odd.
  19. Oh, stop lights. How some of us actually uses you. Provided that all stop lights are synced (and they were the last time I played), everyone should stop at them. Regardless if you think you're clear. Yesterday, I was going through a town - the light was green for me, so I kept rolling through at the speed limit (50 km/h). Some other player bolted right infront of me from the right side making a left hand turn. All of my means of stopping the truck turned on; retarder, exhaust brake and the air brakes. All because someone didn't have the paitence to sit at a stop light for 10-30 seconds. Now, I'm not sure if this is a reportable offense. I've seen some players get kicked or banned for being disrespectful and not following the rules of the road back a couple of patches (before everything went freeroam). But if the former is true - that this is a reportable offense - report them. Same too for those who blaze through a town at 90 km/h. It's funny to watch two truckers crash and the two of them cuss at each other while you're an observer. But when it happens to you, it becomes an embarassment - and worse yet - you might have to load an autosave - which could be 30 minutes ago. Obey the rules of the road. If you have any questions if you're a foreigner (such as my self), then ask on the forums. Some people will be glad to answer.
  20. I find it funny how even after this new forum has been created.. people are still whining about having speedlimiter adjusted or turnt off.
