  1. I'm kind of suprised to hear that. I never participated in the facebook group for just that reason. I would have thought that peoples real names and faces would have calmed thing down but, apparently not.

Shame but its the right choice!

  2. Preferably, you should keep the evidence up forever. That way people can't complain that there's no evidence of their ban after it's been lifted In that case they can feedback and ask for it to be removed. permanent bans are never lifted, so you would need to keep it up forever. Not that TMP will take action against you if you don't

@TrademarkGamer We use numbers as College ID's. And yes a Number ID will direct you to the person who did the survey.

Um.... No. A number and a link are two different things. If you're looking at a number just striaght up, there's no way to know who it is without a bit off effort. Here, it's a link. Some one can accidentally click and.... I've already explained this cba to write it out

He has a point, when Greggs did the one for pastie tax or whatever it was called you had to write your address & post code down then your signature.

Address and postcode doesn't identify you personally.

When I am at college I am always being asked for my College ID when I do surverys. It's no difference here.  And I assume it's the same for your college.

I'm assuming your college ID is a number, which is not a direct identification to you. It would take steps to identify you from that. A link can be clicked - even if accidental - boom! you now know who that is and your own bias, even if you don't realise, is put on that feedback. Note on the whole college ID - We use names; not numbers so, no

    Honestly,

I don't understand why there is an argument in this post. TMP are asking for feedback from you as players. Here's your opportunity so why are you complaining? Stop acting so childish and be happy.

In my opinion this is a good idea as it will give our players a chance to give their view upon TruckersMP and what route they want to take to make TMP better.

They're genuine concerns. Whether it was intentional or not, allowing someone to be identified by a survey instantly makes it biased no matter how hard the person tries to be neutral. When you know who has answered, your own preconceptions are then applied to that survey.

  6. You'd have to use default paint in order to have your VTC's painjob in game. As for the trailers, you'll have to save edit or use an approved mod if you want to use a specfic trailer as your VTC's trailer. There is no added content in MP, however. It must all be part of the base game.

  7. I've been thinking about this for the past few days and one of the things I have realised is that this will bring back very light trailers back into TMP. I'm assuming that, when unloaded, they will weigh slightly less that 1t. I'm not sure how much they will because I have not played the beta as of yet.

  8. Any bans over a year old are still display on your profile, however, are classed as inactive and don't count to your ban total. If you had 5 bans all inative, it would be admin discression. If you have 4 bans, one of which is inactive, the next ban wil be 1m.

    Hopefully that made sense.

  9. If the admin sees it as an accident, it's more than likely the report will get declined and you will stay unbanned. If, however, the admin thinks that the speed that you were going was reckless, then this may result in a ban.

  10. Hi there,

Due to the game time being syncronised on the server, loads are often delivered late as you're single player economy will not be the same as the server economy. As long as you complete a load in Multiplayer in one go, there shouldn't be a problem with it being late.

Suggestion: Lock topic? we're only going to go round and round in circles. Essentially this topic has only opened up an opportunity to argue with each other, Content farm and what will it solve? Nothing.

Agree. Making a public statement was just inviting a debate. I've seen the PM say there is no reason for public interest so, there is no reason for this topic

Yeah, respect can be earned. It can be earned by different ways like for example respecting their opinion. If no other information wants to be given then leave it and just respect it.

I never said I don't repect their opinion. Respect and disagreement are two different things.

But he didn't hack. He exploited a glitch, and it was his first ban, which shouldn't be a perma...

    §2.1 - Hacking/Bug abusing - PERMANENT BAN

Using any kind of tool to change gameplay, including but not limited to using the in-game console, trainers or cheat engine in order to bypass the speeding limiter, to jump hack, no collision hack or anything similar.

It should not have started in the first place since the community hasn't gotten any relevance into this situation.

We've written up our reasoning, and if people have questions about that reasoning feel free to ask - but we are certainly not going to break our own ISP over a situation which shouldn't have existed in the first place.

As I editied in my original post, you've made it public interest by posting a whole topic about it.

I'm still looking for the answer when a part of the community got relevant into the situation with Quad. I believe it's something between TruckersMP Staff and Quad himself and I frankly think the rest of the community hasn't gotten anything to do with it either.

That's why I also don't understand the discussions about it, we don't unban people if we got solid proof but as mentioned in the post there have been several reasons.

I can assure you I am personally not friends with Quad (I barely know him and VIVA for a fact), so I am not biased.

This is a case like any other for me, and I don't have any understanding of the fact why people have the need to suddenly be relevant into this situation while they hadn't had a role in it in the first place.

I, personally, couldn't care less who got banned and who didn't get banned. My main point is that there is a simple soloution to a simple problem which could stop all of this.

^Also, the fact that a member of the team has posted a public statement about it means that you've made it public interest.

Exactly, It's an online mod, why is everyone going so crazy about it, it's not like the UK just split in half or anything, but that's what people are treating it like...

It's called passion. We know the mod could become far better than it is right now, it's just a shame that the team isn't being transparrent.

We made the ISP for a reason: to not disclose that kind of information. Same how GDPR is made to protect user data and privacy. The people who set that up would not break their own protocols.

What is the reason for not disclosing that information though? I see no reason to no post things such as the ban appeals with any personal information blured. I can say with absoloute certainty realeasing this would gain the respect of a large portion of the community. As I said eariler, the TMP team is an online mod not a government agency or something like that. Just saying we made the ISP not to disclose that info isn't going to wash with a lot of the community.
