  1. the thing is truckersmp kinda implemented the 150kmh limit quietly and it never got any attention and everyone kept playing on sim 1 because thats the only server they "see" since everyone is used to only playing sim 1 server because its the only popular server really, if they switched the 110kmh and 150kmh limit on sim 1 and sim 2 or whatever it is nowadays people won't migrate to sim 2 because they dont want the 150kmh limit, they ll just keep playing sim 1 unbothered because they dont care about any other active server really, idk, i hope this makes sense xd
  2. Suggestion Name: raise the minimum ets2 game time hour limit for playing TMP Suggestion Description:from what i remember you are required 2 hours of play time on ETS2 on steam in order to create a TMP account, raise that to 100 hours, or 75 atleast Any example images: no Why should it be added?:there would be less trolls in fresh accounts driving recklessly and ramming others just for their fun because they won't have the patience of playing 100 hours of single player in order to be able to just troll on tmp
  3. i think a good idea would also be this: COLORS MEANING: Blue: For the arrows, just to point out the suggested changes Red: Road that should be added Green: ROUNDABOUT(intersection with the circle in the road instead of traffic lights) this should make the traffic NOT non-existent but significantly lower
  4. personally i think they should be even harsher for repeat offenders, ban evaders, trolls, idiotic children who drive reckless etc. everyone makes a mistake from time to time, let's be honest, whether you want it or not, we all face some bad luck, bad timing situations in which we can crash if we don't pull over, brake asap, or etc u get my point but if you: -purposely engage in a risky situation and you don't care abt it you should get a 3 months ban, followed by a 6 month ban if repeated and then permanent ban + ip ban -troll (blocking, entering and leaving gas station just to create traffic bc trust me i've seen it before i even have a video of it xD, crash into others or cut them off bc u wanted to) you should get instant permanent account ban -think you are one of those guys from the russian tik tok edits where they drive recklessly in AMG's or M's or RS's instant permanent account ban idk its just my opinion i'd also implement a system where you get banned for a certain amount of time based on your driving history (how clean your ban record is, how many hours you spent on truckersmp, how old and active of a player you are) where i'd do something like this: -say a veteran player, 1k hours+ on TMP decides to overtake, someone pops up ahead, they risk it and cut off the guy they are overtaking and accidentaly ram them (and they feel sorry for it) i'd give someone in this situation a 48 hour ban, or something easy like that bc accidents happen to everyone, not saying you should be let off with a warning, not saying you should get a 1 month ban for a simple mistake, you know what i'm saying?
  5. dear God please let this suggestion actually make it into the game because it is one of the best ideas i've seen this year
  6. because that server for speedsters was close to being "secretly" implemented, i did not see anywhere any announcement for the high speed server, except for when i specifically looked into it because i saw a video of someone driving 150kmh in tmp on tiktok, so nobody really knew about this better, high speed server and they just sticked to sim 1, and when they found out about the high speed sim 2 they also sticked to playing on sim 1 because nobody except a handful of players are online on sim 2 at all times, does that have logic enough for you? or you just want to ignore what im trying to say man, come on...
  7. and arcade too let's be honest, besides promods, only simulation 1 and maybe let's say simulation 2 have enough players to be worth keeping online, the other servers i would just remove, or modify them to the wish of people who want slower servers, with no cars, or etc.
  8. this is an actually very good idea, i support it
  9. i completely and strongly disagree with you about the speed limits - Speed limit blocked at 90Km/h. (This is a simulator game not a racing game). -> trucks can reach absurd speeds in real life too (van herk scania 178kmh) so if you want real simulation remove speed limits, let people decide for themselves how fast they want to drive - No cars/vehicles other than trucks allowed (we are on a TRUCK simulator, not F1 or GTA...cars or other vehicle don't make sense.) except for Staff/Admins use to block roads during events convoys excc. -> that does not mean you have to limit yourself to trucks, you have to have a little bit of diversity in traffic, and ETS is one of a kind game with a one of a kind map where i'd much rather drive a car between trucks than go play forza or any other "racing" game because driving car does NOT automatically mean you are an idiot who drives like in F1 or GTA, so they do make a very big lot of sense - Collisions on public roads and in public car parks such as: companies, gas stations, large car parks, etc. (as in reality). -> horrible idea again? what are you going to do in calais? in duisburg? ????????????? And everything else remains unchanged. Already with the idea of blocking the limits at 90kmh, the situation changes a lot in my opinion, because given the majority who believe they are on F1 or NFS, they lose the will and desire to play. And so maybe something could change... -> uhhh no? these "racers" will drive exactly the same, maybe worse because they'll be bored and will YOLO, someone will snap and make a speed hack, and things will get worse? you want to play this kind of ETS you are talking about then gather with your friends and i highly recommend you give the ets2 official multiplayer a try, but don't make this game garbage for others just because you're unhappy with reckless drivers. or if you want TMP with those rules then here's my idea: somehow make the high command of TMP agree with a complete servers remake: -remove arcade, it's useless -Replace simulation servers with 2 servers: 1. Realistic and 2.Simulation 1.Realistic: Removed speed limits, no /fix, and generally just regular ETS2 with no modifications except for the TMP mods such as the scout car, or the bus, or etc, u get my point. 2.Simulation: exactly the server you proposed with a harsher speed rule, NO cars, the speed limit will be decided by the road's speed limit (50kmh for towns, 60kmh for out of towns, 100kmh on highways etc.) and the max speed the truck can have should be 90kmh whenever the speed limit is 90kmh or higher. just because you can't stand seeing a few crashes and slam the brakes sometimes so you can avoid some crashes doesn't mean this game must be boring for everyone, slow, no traffic diversity(car/bus/truck/etc.) either accept the already very boring simulation 1 rules or suggest making a whole other server with such rules.. but please, don't ask for simulation 1 to get any worse just because it pleases you more that way.
  10. why not change simulation 2 then? if you added these rules to sim 1 people would still login to sim 1, ignoring the other servers completely, but then will complain about the low speed limits, this is the reason why simulation 2 isn't popular, because people instinctively login to simulation 1, because trust me if you swapped the speed limits between the sim servers simulation 1 will still be the one with 3000 players online, and simulation 2 will still have 200 players online, they won't go to simulation 2 because they're gonna think "oh but yeah nobody plays on simulation 2" but i have the feeling you already knew that xd i myself only play sim1 because sim2 barely has any players online, because i'd much rather have the 150kmh speed limit than the 110, but you have nobody to play with if you go to sim2
  11. this i agree with! i apologise, i thought you were suggesting changing the current rules of simulation 1 to these new suggested rules
  12. yes i understood, but what you're asking is the opposite of realism and simulation, its more of a make TMP more boring than it already is just bc some ppl drive recklessly so let's punish everyone for it
  13. i don't agree with the speed limits, nor the no-cars policy but perhaps a REALLY realistic idea would be: -Adding those suggested speed limits TO TRUCKS ONLY -Giving the cars NO speed limit for realism purposes, but ofcourse there's the disadvantage of idiots and trolls speeding and wrecking into everyone, so the solution to that? harsh, extreme BANS for people who ruin others experience ON PURPOSE, i'm talking about 3-6-12 months bans(and bring back permanent bans for ban evaders + ip perma-bans), but if they do crash mistakenly however yet it's still their fault keep the normal ban lengths and for people who have less than 1 month old accounts who troll/drive reckless and crash also straight up PERMA-BANS or 1 year bans atleast, so that way everyone can be happy now this, is the REAL simulation if you ask me
  14. I totally agree, i myself only drive C-D because of that, but what if we give other routes the chance to be the new C-D? I'm sure atleast a test trial would be nice, perhaps perform good, and be kept and introduced as an idea in the game forever, worth a shot, is it not?
