    Just flew my first ever flight on VATSIM and all that from ENBR - ENGM (ikr, just a short one to try it out since it's sleepy time right now) and just completed it with a pretty fair manual landing and I must say I'm feeling a bit proud. :)

    Think it’s safe to say it’s time to dig out the rear lights on the trailer once again, like 10th time in the past hour. Whoever thought it was a great idea to have LED lights there can’t have been that bright... -_-

    Can't sleep so here I am in the middle of the night watching Chuck and OMG how much I miss that show and how much I still hate the ending of it and everything, the feels goes like a rollercoaster in this one and the flashbacks to when I first watched this series and how I was like glued to the tv just binge watching each season basically...

    So I almost ended up in the ditch today as the weather decided to go from full on winter with -10 to -20 and winter roads to +6 degrees and rain instead turning those snowy winter roads to EXTREMELY slippery icy roads in some parts.

     

    About 14 seconds into the clip below you'll see how my truck starts turning a bit, its actually going sideways when it does that. I know it doesn't look that bad but thats only because its filmed in the truck itself and not from a vehicle behind me etc, one thing is for certain tho it sure gave me a mini heart attack.

     

     

    To show you a bit of how bad it really got today you can check the below link(in Norwegian tho), when I got a bit further south to a place called Bardufoss it was complete chaos with about 9 trucks, 1 bus and a couple of cars that had driven of the road or crashed in some way and the road had been closed for about 6 hours to try and tow them all up...

      Oh wow :o Scary, stay safe :) Dunno if you ever heard of it but I watch this show called Ice Road Rescue which follows tow truck drivers in Norway both helping stuck trucks and recovering crashed ones, good show :) I sure wouldn't want to be driving those roads in winter especially when we never even get snow here

      Ice Road Rescue is a great show but having said that, the objective is to maintain the rather large beasts from getting into the Rescue mode. Lol Still the slide & guide the you witnessed in Noxii's video is not always easy to recover, especially if you panic. The main thing is don't get excited!! I say again, great job kido.  :<)
