    Awh I've no reports to test it with :(

     

    One way round this (for the devs, possibly requires a re-code) is to use datatables. It has sorting per column, rather than using a dropdown that requires a page refresh to sort :)

    I believe the user is referring to being inside the game's UI. Afaik chat doesn't work inside the menu system, so that means users have to come out half way through customizing their truck to remain in-game. If you have a slower system, it might take longer to get in and out of menus.

    Unfortunately you have to move. The best way will be to also detect any mouse movements and send some information to the server in case you are interacting with UI.

    I found using keyboard far from difficult when I used it to drive. Most people tend not to fiddle with their settings so they're twitchy trying to keep it straight, auto centering the steering is the worst offender for keyboard users, turn it off. I always ran with my steering sensitivity roughly 10-15% on the bar, made turning a little slow but I wasn't hazardous to other road users trying to keep straight at high speeds.

     

     

    As good as it is, it's all do-able to some extent via settings with some tweaking. We don't need a mod, people should play with their settings and optimize/compromise :)

    ^I can understand, but once they're perma-banned they're not meant to be on the server at all :P giving them a server will give them a sense of belonging, they've already shown they don't belong ;)

    If you F7 and Enter quickly enough, there's your respawn :)

     

    ^Also quick saves/loads are another great thing, just be cautious as quick saving whilst driving stops your truck dead momentarily and using quick loads to load into a road could be hazardous to other users. Best pull over to save/load to save your own Bacon :)

    less problem in normal servers, less ban appeal to ask to be unbanned, less work and problem for in-game admin.

     

     

     

     

    Muahaha Creature saved my post, I can now quote :D but perma-banned players aren't the problem, it's the one's that aren't perma'd that are. Those are the ones that won't be on this server you're suggesting as they're not perma-banned :P I see the concept and idea clear as day, but it definitely won't solve the problems :)

    Hi Alex,

     

    This is caused by your game playing at a resolution that is not your montiors native. You have nVidia which is a simple fix :)

     

    Right click your desktop

    Open nVidia Control Panel

    Navigate to "Adjust Desktop Size and Position"

    Select the "Scaling" tab

    Make sure you have these settings;

     

    Fullscreen

    GPU

    Override the scaling mode set by games and programs (ticked)

    1st - 3rd bans are at admin discretion, meaning that they get to select your ban length depending on the rule that you broke.

     

     

    This might cause problems, without a set guideline on how each ruling should be disciplined within an Administration system, you will always get Admins giving harsher punishments than others. This will then cause more messages to the Project Manager(s) because people will feel like they've been mistreated.

     

    I could be banned for 24 hours for something someone else did that got a 3 day ban. Thus the other user will feel wrongly done by the admins.

    +1 from me! Random messages about the rules can be useful.

    Hmm, I am all for this 100%. However, wouldn't chat be spammed quite a bit if you include all of the ads already in place?

     

    The only way that I can see this happening and not spamming users is adding a command, !rules :)

    Very Important Information - 64bit

    Isn't Euro Truck more dependent on the processor and GPU than memory? As far as I can tell, switching from 32bit to 64bit yields no better performance in single-player, 3 to 4 frames at best.

     

    Would love a developers input on this, I can understand why the mod is going 64bit for ATSMP, but ETS2MP could still remain 32bit could it not? Seems like it's gonna lose a good chunk of members :huh:
