The Flags DLC is causing issues (heavy lag and sttutering, ping remains the same) in heavily congested servers. I'd suggest not to use it

Just was there before, lots of "accidents" and lots were there! It's a fun thing to drive around the track with others, or park there and watch.

Suggestion Name: More cars for MP
Suggestion Description: It's getting boring driving and seeing the same car over and over again. Cars such as Mercedes-Benz C class, BMW and Toyota Camry should be added, as they are common cars.

Why should it be added?: It would mean that there would be more diversity on the roads and it won't be so boring anymore2 -
It seems like this may be a Windows 10 issue, as I sometimes experience this problem

Mods cannot and do not work in MP, so you cannot go into mod manager in MP.
There are MP compatible mods that work in MP, but have to be enabled in SP first.

Your ping depends on the location of the server and your location. The further you live from the server location, the higher your ping is, yet you can make your ping more stable. NEVER use wireless connection, always use a wired connection (Ethernet cable). Some things you can do are restart your router/modem several times, maybe get a better router/modem and close any other apps that are using up bandwidth (e.g. YouTube). Check if someone else is using your connection ;). Plus, it may be peak hour for your area, and as a result, your connection may be slow. Also, your ISP could be throttling/restricting your connection because you've used up all your data, or haven't paid your Internet bills :P. Or they are doing maintenence.
The only way you can lower your ping is to move closer to the server location (e.g move to another country) or choose a closer server. I wouldn't recommend moving closer to the server location :P. Ping reducing software such as WTFast don't work, it just makes the ping worse.

It doesn't do this in any other game (GTAV, RSV2, OMSI, etc.) only ETS2
I'm having this problem on my laptop also, where I couldn't even play ETS2, but I could with other games, such as Unturned and Minecraft because ETS2 is a demanding game (If GTA V is a demanding game, IDK why it works for you). 5 seconds in, it flickers and crashes. A friend recommended me to replace the motherboard components
It must be that the graphics chip is screwed, like the one on my laptop
What I'd recommend is to bring your Graphics card to the place where you bought it (if it still has it's warranty) and get it replaced, or buy a new one.

So I just downloaded the latest version of ets2mp mod and for some reason it places me in single player when I click on the multiplayer icon.
I recently brought the Scandinavian DLC and have not played MP since I got it, but I understood that DLC works with MP. I am running Windows 8.1 (currently waiting to upgrade to Win10) and the Steam version of the game.
What happens is this:
-I click on the ets2mp icon on my desktop and a window with 3 options come up:
>Start Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer
>Launch with DirectX
>Launch with OpenGL
-I click on one of them (it does not matter which as all have the same results) and the game boots
-I see the SCS and ETS2 logos then I am given the Profile selection screen (I don't get the log in screen)
-When I choose my profile and start it up, I am in Single player.
Does anyone know what is causing this, should I try uninstalling and reinstalling ets2mp?

Suggestion Name: Have a rule permitting red/left turn on red
Suggestion Description: The lights are programmed red for a long time, so why don't we permit right/left turn on red (when traffic permits). We use this law in the United States, but in major cities (eg. New York) its not permitted unless stated otherwise.

Yep, definetly. This is typical of some asian countries, so that'll be good, especially for the asia server

The problem with an Australian server is the cost. It's a lot more expensive to host a server Australia that in lets say, Singapore.
For now you can just play on the Asia server as you would get better ping that the US and EU servers. A lot of Australians that I know have started playing on the Asia server and haven't really had any major issues.

i Don't this this will be implemented. 1. It's a trucking simulator and not a truck show. Yes we do have truckfest. But even by those standards those wheels are a bit much.
