I definetly saw a non patron drive around in one, I need to find if i can dig a screenshot from my footage

I’ve just got a question I want to ask

 

The other day I saw a non-patron player drive around the Patron vehicle. So it’s obvious that it was save edited in or used as a mod to purchase offline
 

I want clarification if this is allowed or not because this means that non Patrons can drive patron vehicles without supporting TMP

The thing is, a harsh punishment is unfair on newbies who don't know much (Cue forum spam and lots of moaning). Also, cheating (such as money mods and no damage, FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY and not for trolling) is allowed, as long as you don't break rules with it. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with using a no damage mod . If harsher punishments are put in, it's unfair on newbies and will turn them away from playing again.

Truck spawning distance (draw distance setting) can be already set, but it seems to be slightly bugged. Anyone else having that issue?

This is known, it's not a bug

 

The Skoda is a mod made by the TMP team for Multiplayer. When you go into Singleplayer, the game can't find the files required, and that's why it reverts to a truck. However, there is a fix. You can download the Skoda mod on the workshop, it's identical to the MP one. Installing it should fix the issue

It seems like SCS have locked the game version as it is. You cannot downgrade as it fixed bugs. If you've haven't set your game to auto-update, you should be fine

Everyone who is having game crashes id suggest this:

 

1. Reinstall ETS and MP

2. Verify game cache

3. Delete your profiles and restart again

4. Delete your ETS2 Docs folder

 

It might be that profiles are broken. Deleting your profiles should fix it

Just change the settings in the config.cfg, that should fix it. Located in your ETS2 Docs folder

The police car is reserved for admins (and I believe forum mods) only.

 

However the Skoda is free to drive on other servers apart from EU1. You can buy it at any truck dealer.

 

If you try and launch into MP with police additions, you will automatically kicked.

-1 as "veterans" can be noobs. Time registered doesn't mean that you're a veteran as some people may occasionally play

Hmm, what you should try:

 

1. Delete your ETS2 folder in Documents or profiles

2. Verify game cache

3. Reinstall the game

4. Reinstall MP

5. Reinstall Windows  LOL  jks

 

In most cases it may be a case of broken profiles. Delete your profiles or ETS2 docs folder as stated above and restart the game from beginning.. I know it's annoying but it seems like that's one of the only ways I can think of to fix it

+1, great idea, will actually make players go read the rules, the "launch" option should be greyed out until they have read and agreed to the rules.

@AllThingsGaming, as @Trucking Australia once said, adding mods like this will generate jealousy for others, and they will want their mods to be in game too. Winter mod is implemented as the whole community enjoys it and no jealously stems from it. The team created the Skoda mod as their own mod.

The closest thing to a double decked trailer is the livestock trailer (only available in Scandinavia DLC)

 

TruckersMP never implement third party mods (exceptions being the winter mod and Skoda). Go suggest this one to SCS
