I solved the problem now. for whatever reason the mod folder wanted a capital M instead of lowercase.

I tried to run the winter mod in TruckersMP now for a couple days and havent been able to get it working. I put the three files into the mod folder under Documents/ETS2MP/mod however there is still nothing in-game. I searched around lots and have tried many other solutions however cannot get it working. I've reinstalled the launcher, game and mods and still nothing. I followed the installation video directly from TruckersMP too.
