  1. Thanks for the replies. I found the solution, from an older thread on this forum and inspired by the suggestion that the boot up process is the issue. Turns out I need to change my boot sequence to: * Open Steam * Launch ETS2 w/ OpenGL from Steam (other options, like DirectX11, or regular launcher don't work properly) - this was THE key step * Quit ETS2 from profile screen * Boot up TruckersMP The CloudSave does not interfere with the boot up, thankfully. In fact, I didn't realize I had it turned off this entire time. It's now activated, and still works perfectly. Again, the issue was resolved by opening ETS2 w/ OpenGL before starting TruckersMP. Thanks all!
  2. Hello! I've scoured the forum and Google relentlessly for how to solve/eliminate this message, and followed all available instructions to no avail. Hope someone has insight: Situation: * To start TruckersMP following a PC reboot, I always have to start (and shut down) vanilla ETS2 first; if I don't, then TruckersMP won't load my player profiles. I'm not sure this is an issue - I believe that's just how TruckersMP works, and I'm sharing this for context * Once I've exited ETS2 (which i typically do before loading into the game - i.e. on the profile selection screen), I open TruckersMP * I follow all the usual login prompts and eventually get to a loading screen, where 75% of the way in I'm met with the "content change detected" message in TruckersMP (and even ETS2 if I try to play Single Player) * Once in-game, I'm always reset to my garage, irrespective of where I ended my last play session. So I may have exited in, say, Bucharest after successfully completing a job, but I'm reset to my garage in Amsterdam next time I recboot the game. Of course, I want to reboot and still find myself in Bucharest Attempted fixes: * I play through Steam, and have managed to locate my Steam profiles and checked config files for the "economy" parameter to ensure it's set to "0". I have several Steam profiles in my directories - for reasons unclear to me - but I've checked every single config file and 100% have the economy parameter set to "0" * I have also both deactivated all mods I use in Single Player (in both SP and TruckersMP), and even removed/unsubscribed from all mods - I'm playing 100% vanilla with only downloaded DLC * I have also tried manually saving my TruckersMP game before existing, in the hope that would solve it Hypothesis: * I *think* the issue may have something to do with the way I start/boot up TruckersMP. You know, because I always open/close ETS2 first, and then jump to TruckersMP to ensure I get my profiles to show. But I'm not sure. If it is, could someone advise how to open TruckersMP w/o first starting and shutting down ETS2? I have tried starting TruckersMP first (with Steam open), but that doesn't open truckersMP w/ profiles * If the issue is NOT boot up sequencing, any other ideas? Thanks in advance.
  3. Yes, I suppose it does. I couldn't find reference to the bug in the above link (just a lot of links to peruse), but will take your word for it that it's a known bug! Thanks.
  4. Hello! I'm playing Truckersmp with no mods, and have a problem with a Volvo VNL - basically I get no engine sound with other players around. Once I leave a busy area, the engine sound resumes. I've tried in single player, and it works fine. Have tried switching trucks - several times (eg Peterbilt 579, KW900). Peterbilt and KW work just fine, just not the Volvo VNL. I'm used to horns and reverse beeps not working when there are other players around, but the lack of engine sound is odd. Also note that I can hear other players' engines just fine. Pls advise. Thank you! P.S, I first experienced this with a D16 w/ 500 hp (my first ever Volvo - bought yesterday). Then switched to a D16 600hp to see if the engine might make a difference. It did not.
