Greetings TruckersMP Community! This year we are celebrating a milestone like no other! TruckersMP is turning ten years old, and we are unpacking a great deal of festivities to celebrate ten years of incredible journeys! TruckersMP first opened its doors to the public on May 1st 2014, meaning we’re now looking forward to celebrating a decade of trucking with #TMP10. Over the span of TruckersMP’s existence, we have seen huge developments and changes, as well as immense growth and support from the community. Fast-forward to this past year; TruckersMP has achieved the milestone of 5 million registrations!. Next to that we have hosted several awesome convoy and delivery events for the community, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, TruckersMP Tournament 2023, Fruity Freight Fiesta, Featured Zone, Halloween Winter Island and the Christmas Convoy. We have also introduced a vast amount of new features and improvements to improve your experience, such as the New TruckersMP Trailers, a New Chat System and IME Support. Besides that we have actively listened to your feedback and also gave you updates regarding the project. We did a Feedback February, gave a Project Update, held a Community Survey, provided insight to the Dev Framework, but also an update to our Game Moderations Strategy. Lastly, we have recapped the year, providing you the year of 2023 in data. Some important figures were that we have had 36 052 average daily unique players, 384 998 new registrations, and 3 441 community events. For more insight into 2023, take a look at this blog post. With celebrating this milestone, it’s great to look back and see how awesome our community is, and what we have accomplished together. For that reason, it is important to come together and celebrate the success of TruckersMP on this special anniversary. Well, get your party hats and poppers ready. Thursday 18th April 2024 We need your help in ensuring that everything is ready in time for the big party! Can you help us deliver all the equipment we need to ensure that the celebrations go with a big bang? You will need to deliver ten pieces (can be combined with the pack down event) of festival equipment to the event location, Milestone Bay, in order to receive the achievement. You have one week to participate! Friday 26 April 2024 The festival will once again make its return to kick off the weekend in style. We recommend bringing your best pair of dancing shoes, along with lots of food and drinks Like the past few years, we are partnering again with TruckersFM to bring you a one of a kind 5-hour Festival! Milestone Bay will be opening its doors to bring you this one of a kind event. This is an island like no other…the festival grounds will be located on a huge site next to the race track where our TruckersMP Tournament was located last year. But that’s not all! The island also includes a spectacular custom stage, lots of party decorations, a custom dragstrip, dirt track, race track and most importantly: great music broadcasted to you LIVE from the TruckersFM studio. To get to Milestone Bay, you will need to catch the train from TruckersMP HQ. The festival will be open on Friday 26th April between the hours of 17:00 - 22:00 UTC. You will need to deliver 10 cargo items overall (including the setup event) in order to receive an exclusive TruckersMP 10 achievement! Can you help us restore Milestone Bay back to how it was prior to the festival? TMP10 Freeroam It’s not a TruckersMP anniversary without this server opening up! The ‘Freeroam’ server is back again for another year. If you celebrated with us last year, you may remember we released a unique server in which the community could play online in a 'sandbox' environment. It was a massive success, and once again as a thank you to the community, we will be reopening it again exclusively for our TMP10 celebrations. So what's so special about this server? On our TMP10 Freeroam [No Road Rules] server, players will be granted access to our staff-exclusive Police car! And, to ensure you can enjoy the experience with reduced restrictions, the server will have no road rules enforced, but with the player collisions ON. As well as all of this, our very own Milestone Bay Island will be available on the European server to race your friends or even go head to head on the dragstrip. The servers will be available on both ETS2 and ATS, exclusively between Monday 29th April - Sunday 19th May. Click here for TMP10 Freeroam server rules! Greetings TruckersMP Community! Ever since the complete overhaul of our chat system, our Game Developers have been hard at work improving its accessibility and adding new features. We’re therefore excited to announce new features for our chat system, now available on TruckersMP! What’s new? Our chat system now features IME (Input Method Editor) Support. That means that we now support languages that cannot be easily represented on a standard QWERTY keyboard (such as Korean, Japanese and Chinese), and support the Windows emoji picker and paste history! IME Support (Non-Latin character input) With the new IME support, Korean, Japanese and Chinese players no longer have to copy and paste over their text. You can now input that text directly into the in-game chat! Start using the new feature simply by typing using Microsoft Pinyin IME, Hangul IME, and others! Windows Emoji Picker Another new feature is the Windows emoji picker, so that you can directly put emojis into the in-game chat. Express yourself through different emojis or quickly respond to another player's comment, the choice is yours! You can start using the emoji picker by pressing the Windows logo key + . (period). Windows Paste History Lastly, we now also support Windows paste history This way, you can easily copy and paste previous copied text, how useful is that! You can start using the paste history by pressing the Windows logo key + V. Your Feedback Matters! As with any update, your feedback is very valuable to us.
