  1. Hi, the quickest fix for this is

    1. Go to My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles and find your profile - if you only have one profile it'll be the only one, otherwise you'll have to work out which one you want.

    2. Open the config.cfg in the profile folder in your text editor of choice (e.g. notepad).

    3. Look for the line uset g_force_economy_reset "0" - change the 0 to a 1 and save the file (not save as)

    4. Now start ETS2MP and load your profile. You should receive a message saying "Game change detected", etc. Your economy will now have been reset.

    5. Lastly, exit again and change that 1 back to a 0 in your config.cfg and save again otherwise it'll reset every time you start the game.

I already pointed out that I tried that, please read my full post.

  2. I have possibly the same issue.

    http://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/19783-no-jobs/

It seems to have baffled the community.  My current work around is to just get myself towed (F7) for like 300 bucks and then it displays jobs again for a bit.

I was looking at your post and I basically did everything you did, but I did change the config.cfg (Changed the morror view distance, because I hate that everything that is 30m behind my truck pops out of existence) I'll let you know if thats the problem

  3. Hey Guys!

I have the following problem. I don't see any job offers at the freight market screen, but I do see job offers when I visit the depot manually. I've already reset the economy many times. It works for a while, but after ~12 hours IRL time it stops displaying job offers. (Still shows job offers when I visit the depot manually)

  4. Send that suggestion to SCSSoftware. Also use the correct suggestion format.

    Example:

Suggestion Name: Add non collision zones within delivery depots
Suggestion Description: At the moment there is collision zones around the entire map, it would benefit everyone if there were non collision zones within the delivery depots and dropoff points.
    Any example images: Nope.
Why should it be added?: It'd allow multiple users to deliver at the same time

  5. wait? if i drop off a job in rotterdam and looking for a new one, standing 30sec in a yard scrollingthe jobs to get out of there with new cargo, i get a ban? how stupid is this? cant we make it 2 min and a kick please??

btw.. this is just theoretical.. i dont do jobs to NL in mp ever becouse of traffic/lags and only go thru ep if i really have to.

Don't be ridiculous, we both know that you won't get banned when you stop to get a job...

  6. Seems like you haven't driven a car @ night before. Your headlights don't improve vision that much, you only see better whats infront of you and slightly to the sides. Vision to the left/right remains poor.

The second nor the first picture is realistic, both of them are way too bright. The right beam shines twice as far (~60m) as the left one (~30m Left hand drive) in real life

http://imgur.com/gUAmxkw Should look kinda like this.

    This is also pretty accurate:

  7. You can actually drive and text so it's not "unrealistic".

Yes you can, but its forbidden in most country. I can't tell you how many times I see ppl driving and texting at the same time! It drives me nuts and everytime I see someone texting and driving, I want to get out of my car ,open their door, take their phone and throw it against the ground as hard as I can.

    -1

  8. Only some rich moron would pay that much for all of that stuff!

Also, with the "we cannot sell because we don't have rights" thing, then how do GTA San Andreas Multiplayer servers have premium stuff and donations to use certain in-game items like the Infernus or Cheetah or to have a private house?

You don'T know how kickstarter works...

  9. I would be a better idea if it worked like kickstarter. We start donating money and lets say every 20€ we get more stuff.

    For example:

20€ = More accessories and lights.
40€ = More rims and wheels
    60€ = Interior customization
    80€ = Custom skins
    100€ = VTC Skins + Trailer
    120€ = Modded Trucks/Trailers etc.
    140€ = Custom maps.
200€ =  VTC HQ on your chosen location
    Etc.

    What do you think?

  10. EDIT\\  I've changed what I initially said because I don't want to fuel this discussion anymore. I think the idea isn't great and that microtransactions have nothing to do in mods or triple-a games. (Its also illegal because of SCS's EULA) Most ppl reject that idea too.

    Have a nice day!

  11. Some of you people seriously need to educate yourselves before you speak.

I actually like the idea, but only if its not made mandatory, and If it's optional. Meaning (You can request custom skins and an additional installer could be made available for those who want to see the different skins/mods. It would be installed seperate from the main MP installer.) but I think it would be better for MP devs to port the game to a newer engine and use different skins. Thus making the mod their own game. Afterall, porting the game would mean manual migration to a new engine, thus further making the code new, and their own. They're already half way there! (That's just IMO.)

Secondly, coming from someone with 8 years study experience in contract law, please stop talking out of your ass about eulas and everything else. Those circumstances are widely disputible should they ever reach a court-room hearing. Which is highly unlikely... SCS would loose so much money if the MP crew packed up tomorrow and quit. Lets face facts, ETS2 is nothing without MP, and its in SCS best interest to currently work with the devs of this mod. Nobody can deny gamers are buying this simulator specificially for multiplayer entertainment. :)

Thirdly, as a programmer, mod/game dev (not for ets). Skins are not required by servers, and they are only required by the clients. If the server is configured to show custom skins, and knows how to parse the information of different skins, then the client will interperate which skin the user will see based on the skins installed by the user of the client. If the user does not have the skin, he/she will see the skin as a default type for the template it represents. Atleast, thats how I've always made custom skins work on games I've worked with. If the ETSMP server works, differently, then the devs need to change how that works on their client/servers.  ;)

8 years of experience in law? Pic or lie. Programmer? Pic or lie. Oh btw im the president of the united states. ETS 2 nothing without MP? Hahaha made my day. Stop defending his idea. 1. Its against the EULA. period. 2. Its a stupid idea, because the guys who developed the multiplayer would shift the focus on customization and not the actual game (Why keep developing the mod when we can add customizations and earn money). Oh and we totally need microtransactions in a mod. AAA games have microtransactions even though they shouldn't. If I pay 60€ for a game I don'T want content locked behind a paywall. If you want to spend money donate it to the devteam.

  12. So you mean we cant have fun without those skins? Have you ever played War Thunder? I have the same fun without paying for some texts in my wings. I think you did so. : /

Is this real? Who wants to forbid someone for being able to ask for some money or not about their own work? I´ve seen lots of truck / trailer private mods (paid mods) which seem not to be illegal or against any rule (if so, they would´ve been punished or closed) and as I said, lots of other games have paid mods. In case what you´ve said it´s true, then there´s no way out, sure.

It is forbidden. Read the EULA. SCS doesnt do anything because its a very very small market. Also it violates copyright if you sell a "Mercedes or Scania" truck. I've seen plenty of truck mods that you have to pay for. And could you show me "many other" games that support paid modding. Before you say anything. Every racing-sim that supports modding doesn't count.

Who want to forbid paid mods? Thats a pretty dumb question. If I made a game that supports paid mods i'd take at least 30% from your profit and if you have any copyright issues then thats your problem not mine.
