Appreciate the input, but I believe effective moderation isn’t about being trigger-happy with the ban button, It’s about judgment. Rules exist, absolutely, but not every violation needs a hammer, sometimes a nudge fixes more than force. If banning solves everything, you don’t need a mod, you need a bot. Anyway, I respect your view. I just prefer handling people like people, not like case numbers. All the best to you too. You make it sound like a trick question . No immediate ban. It's reckless driving, so I'd warn or kick first. Ban only if repeated or dangerous, but the question is hard to answer because it all depends on the specific situation. Good? And the needed requirements for bans are already posted in the original post.

I wish there was a more efficient way to report players in this game.
Right now, it feels like the report system is too slow, clunky, or just not effective enough and because of that bad behavior on the road or in the chat keeps going (for years with feel of 0 change, not even a feel, its a fact by now). Meanwhile, I get the feeling that for some admins, It’s become more fun (or normal) to roleplay as police or other authority roles than to actually deal with what’s happening across the whole server. And I get it, it probably is more fun that way for everyone as the things are right now.
But that leaves regular players constantly exposed to trolls, blockers, crashers, and people spamming or insulting in chat. And over time, it takes away from the experience. (It really does). I think the solution isn’t to expect more from admins (no offense to anyone) It’s to improve the report system itself.
Make it easier, quicker, and more meaningful.
Give players tools to directly report or flag locations.Maybe even introduce a system where players can “call” an admin to a spot from anywhere on the map using a simple command or an in-game feature.
This wouldn’t just help players. It would help admins too. If players had stronger tools, maybe even backed by code or AI that can assist in simple sorting or filtering reports, admins could focus more on real issues and less on chasing everything manually (respect to them).
In the end, I think both roles, ''players'' and ''admins'' deserve their own meaning in the game.
If reporting worked better, players would feel more protected, less trolling would happen, and admins would have an easier and more focused job.I'm convinced the game would be more fun for everyone.
