No sound is a known bug within TruckersMP since the release of the FMOD. There is no solution to this issue and there is currently no ETA on when this issue will be fixed.

When save editing, you must save your game as g_save_format 2. As well as make sure you're opening your game.sii from your save.

This is done by local modding. Local modding is mods that will only be seen by you and nobody else. As you see in the screenshot these do work in TMP. Below I will provide some helpful videos and forum post.

Hello again!
I must inform you that it is not suggested to take Quick Jobs on our multiplayer platform. Please take notice that the TruckersMP servers do not run on the same in-game time as your game which causes the bug you are facing that will show that you are thousands of hours late to deliver your load.
Please try to deliver your loads without closing or restarting your game. The best solution is simply to not take Quick Jobs, consider purchasing a truck and doing Freight Market jobs!

Unfortunately, this is an issue with SCS not TMP. If you would like you can report this to SCS, but sadly TMP has no control over this issue.

Unfortunately, VR isn't supported by TMP because the ability to use VR is on a different version of the game which isn't supported by TMP. With that said there isn't a real ETA when it will be added.
