TruckersMP does not support 1.37 beta. You must downgrade your game version to be able to play Multiplayer. You can still play singleplayer when you downgrade to the current version, and it will also allow you to play multiplayer. When 1.37 is released, TruckersMP will start working to make it compatible with multiplayer, but I don't think they will be making the beta compatible. If you create a Virtual Trucking Company (VTC), you will be able to hire real online players. You can hire people in-game (as you would do in singleplayer), and it will give you money when they complete jobs, but you will cover their expenses such as fuel, etc. If you were to play singleplayer, the in-game system would be the exact same in mutiplayer. To summarize your question, you cannot hire real players in-game, but you can create a Virtual Trucking Company (VTC) and hire real players. Try going to your TruckersMP Profile, click settings, Linked Games / DLC, and press Check DLC.

I understand your argument, but if you do not have a DLC that the other player has, you will see a hole in their truck (usually in the grill), which does not look good in pictures, driving around, etc. So the topic is not really talking about unable to see taillights without a DLC, but the appearance of another truck without the DLC.

Due to legal reasons, TruckersMP is not allowed to show the content in the DLC to someone who hasn't brought it.

This is a great idea! Instead of having nothing, that empty space should be replaced with the default customization, which requires no DLC. It would look way better in pictures, or just driving around.

People did spread out throughout the city before the event, but TruckersMP hosted many of these events before. I am sure TruckersMP Staff understood how many people could be in one area, and would of made changes if anything did not work out. Overall, it was another great and successful convoy by the TruckersMP Team.

No! TruckersMP goes off of UTC. There is a option on their blog post to convert to your local time zone. I am sure TruckersMP will do another convoy going through New Mexico. It is an amazing state to explore even without a convoy.

The convoy departed at Bitumen in Raton, New Mexico and ended in the race circuit located in Tucson, Arizona. The convoy departed at 18:00 UTC and was estimated to be 90 minutes. There was a server dedicated for the convoy, but the convoy has ended.
