  1. @skine [PL] Do you have your developer console enabled? You can monitor your connection stats using the g_developer 16 command. We'd love to have that information so we can possibly make a fix for this issue.
  2. Hi, what version of OBS studio are you using? (Classic or Studio) What exactly is the problem you're having? A black screen? Some sort of error? OBS crashing? Those details are essential so we know where the problem lies. For a while now the multiplayer version of the game treats full-screen differently than single-player does, to prevent alt+tab freezing (=trolling). Trying a different capture mode than you are already using such as windowed capture, monitor capture, and game capture could fix the problem. Also make sure everything is ran as administrator, I've personally had a scenario happen where I got the black screen due to OBS having insufficient permissions to capture the game.
  3. You should always record your gameplay (and save it for a couple weeks, just in case), so if something happens you have counter-evidence. If you're not experienced with recording, I'd suggest using https://plays.tv/. OBS Studio also has a setup wizard now, but there will still be a little more work required than plays.tv.
  4. If both of you follow the rules and don't end up banned, you have nothing to worry about. You wouldn't be breaking any rules to start off with, but if for some reason your wife ends up banned, your account could take the fall for it too. (For ban evading) I mean, you could provide proof that the other account doesn't belong to you if you had footage of both of you driving at the same time together, but generally speaking that's what could happen.

Did you download the hotfix? That's a known issue, but it was supposed to be fixed in the latest update.

  7. You can already search players. As for the map, I don't know any exact details on release, but Italy & ATS should be added in the future. For now, you can still see players in those locations, even though no roads will appear.
  8. That's a common bug where the game didn't close all the way. You'll have to look in your task manager and see if you can find it there, and force-kill it. P.S. - This isn't a suggestion.
  9. Honestly, this isn't really that big of a deal, because a), nobody else is affected, and b), you are intentionally choosing to spawn them via commands, otherwise they wouldn't appear. As long as these AI vehicles are being forced-spawned and not just appearing without typing the command, I wouldn't really consider this a bug.
  10. Unfortunately, people can't really be punished for what they can't see. Often times someone will connect to the server while driving down the road, and because he can't see anybody due to trucks not loading, he just speeds through all the traffic until it's too late. Possible solutions to fix this problem: -Increase the ghost mode duration to allow more time for the game & trucks to finish loading. -Have a clear indication of exactly how long ghost mode is remaining for, both for the user himself to see and the others around him. That way, there won't be any excuse for users to have their vehicles moving when ghost mode ends. Even add "WARNING" in red letters to warn the user when there's 5 seconds or less remaining on it. -Improve the protection that occurs after ghost mode. It was meant to protect trucks from taking damage due to someone's ghost mode ending inside of them, but in reality, it tends to be buggy and still result in some glitches. It's easy to always say "If an undesired effect occurs, add in a rule that prohibits it." While this can be effective, it's better on the long term scale to fix the problem itself so people don't have any excuses. If your rule gets added, I can bet you 100% that there will be people who simply don't care and continue to do it anyway.
  11. Sorry you've decided to leave.

You're one of the people that inspired me to join the team in the first place, and that's almost 3 years ago.

    You will be missed.

  12. I've seen that too, but I don't think I was actually taking any damage. I just kept being reminded about how I had 0% damage, which gets annoying because it blocks my GPS.
  13. Although I do understand this idea's benefits, I'd rather it be optional because I don't want my GPS becoming cluttered. Think about how that would look when there's 150-200 people in one spot, at that point it would become useless. Even if the size is reduced. That being said, I don't remember seeing the dots in the UI files, maybe they could be added there so anybody can change it to their liking?
  14. This isn't hacking, the client is coded by default to spawn all vehicles in that fashion. It may look strange, but it helps performance. -If a player goes right through you, but you don't take any collision either, that's ghost mode. -If a player goes right through you, but you are pushed away/take collision damage, then he might be hacking. Sometimes, there are synchronization issues & bugs that can make someone appear to be hacking but actually aren't because they can't see anyone. Keep that in mind, too.
  15. @Mike Dragon In previous builds, ghost mode (upon spawning) was always 20 seconds PLUS continued protection until all models were no longer clipping through each other. I know that for a fact because I have a video of it being tested. Take leaving NCZ's for example - ghost mode turns on for anybody who is still clipping through you when you leave the zone. Designed that way to stop flying trucks and the kind of trolls who used to park at exits just to make people fly. It was working that same way when the spawn timer ran out, but now that feature doesn't always seem to work. As to @Glada_Laxen, I have to admit, that spawn was a really poor choice (I always try to make my quick-saves on the side of the road), but I can't put the blame on you for that as you expected a different outcome.
  16. Even through my inactivity, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a happy 2018.

  17. In some other situations when ghost mode gets activated, it will not disable until you are 100% not clipping through someone... not sure why it didn't do that here. Possibly, it could've been broken during a recent update. I also suggest the addition of some sort of seconds countdown visible for both you and others, because at the moment, unless you're paying close attention, it's sort of a guessing game.
  18. Today marks two full years as IGA/GM complete (including time in the TL position too), if it weren't for this awesome community, I wouldn't have stuck around for so long.. :)

    Snow mod

We don't know an exact of when the snow mod will be added, but it's expected every year. Usually it gets added around December each year, but like I said, that can vary. Usually it lasts for a couple months once it's added, before it gets disabled.
  20. @GGF MD You'll likely never run into this bug in the future due to the new ghost mode feature, but the actual issue causing this wasn't fixed. It'll still happen if you're around admins coming in and out of the area, and regulars just loading in normally (in which case ghost mode is not activated). To @Moh_ , I did some investigation of what was actually happening while you couldn't see the model, and it appears the rear trailer on doubles aren't synced perfectly. They will spawn facing exactly north for some seconds, then "flip" to the correct position. This could still create accidents if someone's at the wrong place at the wrong time. Example:
  21. The first one should be allowed, as long as it doesn't cause any crashes to others. It looks seemingly harmless. Believe it or not, the second one is allowed too, as many hybrids are. That hybrid looks very clean, unlike some which can have parts floating out the side mid-air. I've actually used the second one myself a while back, and I even know a Community Manager that used that Renault combo. It's when things get messy and begin crashing others, grille's floating out the side, inappropriate beacon placement, that becomes bannable.
  22. These are my settings which I've used for 2 years now: config_lines[94]: "mix dbgfwd `keyboard.w?0`" config_lines[95]: "mix dbgback `keyboard.s?0`" config_lines[96]: "mix dbgleft `keyboard.a?0`" config_lines[97]: "mix dbgright `keyboard.d?0`" config_lines[98]: "mix dbgup `keyboard.e?0`" config_lines[99]: "mix dbgdown `keyboard.c?0`" Should work for you, but you should remap any of those keys which are in use, in the settings first. Otherwise it'll reset it back to just numpad. Someone else may have the arrow combination, not sure.
  23. The option(s) are mainly there to increase FPS (which I can gladly say it does), not to disable others seeing them. They can still see them just fine, if they too have the options checked as well.
  24. @[FEVER-CO] YaBoiFever Technically, you can't be banned just for using a no damage mod and nothing else, as it only affects the outcome of your truck and nobody else's. (not to be confused with a NCZ hack, the no damage mods I am referring to don't permit freely clipping through others). On another note, the popular ones that currently exist right now tend to have other engine, braking, and much more 'tweaks' that are equivalent to speedhacking, and hacking in general which will get you banned if you turn them on. I'd personally recommend staying away from them altogether if you don't know what you're doing, as that's about the same as playing with fire.
  25. I'm not entirely sure of a solution to this but the first thing I'd suggest would be checking your audio devices in windows "sound" to see which one is default.
