  1. Hi there, As I've given my input on this suggestion previously, and it still applies today: This suggestion will be marked as rejected. However, we are still looking at potential solutions to eliminate any trolling by this method. Regards.
  2. Hi there, Due to how the multiplayer works, this may not be easy to do. That being said, we are working on a solution that will fix the original problem altogether - the UI being stuck on when you have the game's options menu up. In that sense, I will mark this suggestion as rejected, but thank you for taking the time to remind us of this issue. Regards.
  3. Hi there, We strongly agree with you that this should be a thing. However, since it will require a lot of changes with how our API works, it might be a while before this happens. As such, I'll be declining this suggestion now. Regards.
  4. Hi there, While I understand your frustration, there are servers such as Arcade that have no speed limit whatsoever. In that sense, we do not deem it necessary to raise the speed limiter on our servers titled 'Simulation' when the goal of those servers are to treat the game as realistically as possible. Henceforth, your suggestion is being declined. Still, thank you for taking the time out to create one. Regards.
  5. Hi there, Everything you described here can be done via custom UI these days, so I strongly suggest you check out this topic. However, when it comes to the base UI seen in-game, the developers have much more important things to focus on besides a small change such as that since players unhappy with the way things look can change it themselves now by finding community-made UI packs. So as such, I'll be marking this as rejected today. Thank you for your suggestion.
  6. Hi there, Your suggestion has been approved, as we are looking at a few different solutions to solve this old bug. Regards.
  7. Hello @Geramix ///, Despite the answers given above, I would like to inform you that our servers have been having a few stability issues over the past couple days. As a result, you might get kicked for an unreliable connection even when your internet is perfectly fine. We are working hard to resolve this. Regards.
  8. Hello, The servers are experiencing a bit of lag issues at this time - so do not worry if your connection appears to be bad.
  9. Hello, The push to talk button used to be V, but a while ago, it was changed to X. Also, you can find more information about your available microphone inputs in the settings menu (Press TAB, right click, chose the settings gear, and finally, the sound tab). Lastly, if it is working, you will see an icon of a speaker in the lower right corner of the screen when talking.

    Offline

Hello, Firstly, do you have your developer console enabled? If not, I suggest starting with that. The next thing would be to monitor the connection stats with the command g_developer 48. (If you are able to do this before you lose connection with the server). When you are finished with it, you can always put back on g_developer 1. Lastly, if you determine that there are indeed connection issues on your side such as packet loss, you could do various things such as using Ethernet instead of wireless, restarting your modem and router, or even contacting your ISP if you think it's on their end.
  11. Hello, Sorry to say, but generally, you cannot apply for a staff role until 1 year after your ban has expired, not just right after it does.
  12. Hello, The player in your video is using a save edit that is not allowed. Please file a report. Kind regards, Aragon TruckersMP Game Moderator Leader
  13. Synced gates already happened, and I even remember seeing them in action back then: So all that's seemingly needed is compatibility with some of the newer tollgates, and fixes to work with the latest update. If we were able to pull it off the first time, I imagine it would be possible once again. Either way, I am in support of suggestion, and hope this does get addressed in the future.
  14. Hello @NoName566, If you are driving along, and someone decides to ram you or otherwise break the rules then immediately disconnect, you are still covered. The easiest thing to do in this situation if you are still in-game, would be opening the TAB menu, then right clicking to enable the cursor, and finally selecting the 'History' button near the top. From there, you can select any user that has left the area from the past 60 seconds. If you manage to find their name, click on it, and select the report option. You can then take a screenshot of their account information. If you are unable to do this because it's been more than 60 seconds, you can also find users in your development logs (if you have this enabled). They are located in C:\Users\YourName\Documents\ETS2MP\logs\log_spawning_DD\MM\YYYY. Ideally, you should open these in Notepad++, but the standard version works as well, although it can be more scrambled. From there, you can hit CTRL+F, and type all or part of their name. Finally, if it works, you will end up with a line that looks like this: [HH:MM:SS] Spawning GameTruck (TruckersMP Name(Temp ID) - TMPID: XXXXXXX - Tag: ) Additional data: There are other solutions out there, such as searching their username on other databases and websites, but sometimes that does not work, especially if they delete their account or change usernames right after the incident. I hope this has been helpful, Aragon TruckersMP Game Moderator Leader
  15. Hello, The duration it takes for your report to be claimed can vary between just a few minutes, to a week or more, based on the number of reports that are in the queue currently. It doesn't mean that your report is necessarily being ignored, and we will get to it as soon as we can. Kind regards, Aragon Game Moderator Leader

    TruckesMP ui

Hello, By any chance, do you have a hotkey set up (recording, for example) that would cause you to be pressing the F11 key? The next time you see your UI disappear, try pressing F11 and see what happens. Additionally, F9 will have the same effect for the chat. Regards.
  17. Hi, Please refer to the following: Everything should be logged, so users will not be able to use this feature as a method of avoiding a ban.
  18. Sorry, but I have to disagree with this one. I appreciate the fix command existing due to rammers being very common, but a refueling command is too much. The great challenge of conserving fuel and making it to the next station just before your tank becomes empty will be completely thrown out the window if this gets added. Even if the command in question only adds a small amount of additional fuel, it still completely ruins that challenge. You may not realize it, but fuel stations are one of many things that makes TruckersMP unique and diverse. Take that away, users will find the game becoming more boring than before, because part of the experience would be lost.
  19. Hello, To make your UI transparent, you need to do the following: 1) Right click to bring up the cursor; 2) Click the settings gear; 3) Navigate to the 'graphics' tab; 4) Down near the bottom, you can find the opacity slider. Slide it to the desired amount, and click apply. 5) Once you are done, click 'ok' to leave the settings menu. Hope this helps.
  20. This is what should have happened, but he moved his car and still received a kick. I have notified the proper people about this bug, so hopefully it will be looked into soon.

    Perma ban

Hello, The duration of the ban is not linked to whether or not you can file an appeal for it. If you have been barred from filing an appeal, there would have been an additional reason for it. Your only option at that point would be either accepting the ban, or contacting a Manager by using the feedback system:
  22. So sad to hear that you are no longer with us. :(

You have set a great example for everyone around here, and I hope to see you again someday.

  23. Congratulations on your latest promotion!

    Well deserved. B)

    Reduce Ping

Hello, The best way to ensure you are playing with the lowest ping possible would be checking each and every device connected to your network, and determining what sort of bandwidth it might be pulling from it. This could somehow help, but most likely will not have any effect because graphics settings are completely local and generally have no impact on the connection, rather an impact on FPS performance. You could try restarting your modem and router which may clear the issue, but once they are back on, the same devices which were pulling bandwidth previously will most likely continue to do the same thing again. Here are some hidden offenders, that you may have not thought about: -Cloud synchronization programs, such as OneDrive. -Programs automatically updating in the background without your knowledge (This includes Steam updating games). -Livestreaming a bitrate that is near or over the speed of your internet. -Other people on your network using up lots of bandwidth. Anything else bogging down your connection can and will contribute to your ping being higher. Lastly, there is a limit on which no matter how good of a connection you have, even gigabit internet, your ping cannot be lowered. This number increases the further away you live from the server, and there is nothing that can be done about it except by playing on servers closer to you, or just embracing it. I hope I've answered your question to the fullest. Kind regards, Aragon TruckersMP Moderator
