Suggestion Name: Reworking of the speed governors/speed limits Suggestion Description: The speed limits need to be changed, from the top-line of exactly 109.49 km/h (68 mph) to something more like it was before, of about 140 km/h (86 mph). Any example images: N/A Why should it be added/changed?: When driving a car, it is incredibly difficult to pass/overtake a truck on the highways as 99% of truck drivers speed up (or already) to the max speed of 109.49 km/h, so you are unable to get around them. This is especially bad when they were going about 85 km/h and just as you put your signal/indicator on and get ready to move over into a break in traffic, the truck who was holding the line up now speeds up to the max speed limit and then essentially blocks you. Plus when people get behind you, and they're now also going 109.49 km/h you are unable to hit your brakes to get back behind the person who is next to you..... hence many MANY exits/turns are missed, and you end up travelling much farther out of your way than you need to. Before the 109.49 km/h limit was in attendance, it was easy to get around trucks and give them plenty of room, as to not cut them off... Now I'm having to hope that they see me, and that I have enough room to get in front of them should they decide to speed up suddenly on me. [Why not just stay behind them, you may ask.... Well, when you're doing 85 km/h and you go uphill and you have to put on the brakes and slow down, then speed up and slow down and... you get it... speed inconsistency.] This is also a big danger in terms of causing collisions as when, a truck doing the max speed is in the inside passing/overtaking lane, you're in the travel lane with trucks behind you, and a line of trucks are trying to merge onto the highway from the ramp... guess what, you cannot stamp on your brakes as there's people hot on your tail, the people on the entrance ramp are moving too fast to stop, and the truck in the passing/overtaking lane is unable to go faster or stop (as there people behind them as well), so people are getting hit, and I mean trucks go near straight up into the air they get hit so hard. I have seen this happen so many times, and then people start getting extraordinarily upset about who's fault it was and wasn't. It was more smooth when the speed limiter didn't exist. IF POSSIBLE, please add a different TRUCK speed limiter, than what the Scout Car uses if removing the limit is "impossible". So the cars can actually get around the trucks instead of being equally as slow as them. There is only so fast the car can accelerate, and there is a high failure in overtaking/passing due to this. I get that in the real Europe, nobody is allowed to go faster than 110 km/h (I also read a news article a while back that they want to add speed governors to each car by some year in the future), but that's a big safety hazard! Sometimes you have to speed up to make way for others on the road...... Not sitting there looking like a fool "Well, I can't speed up to get out of the way, and I can't slow down or I'll get hit.... guess I'm going to get hit anyways.... oh well, good luck everybody else. *shrugs before car gets destroyed*"
