ATS free weekend, can play TruckersMP?

Hello. so today free weekend started for ATS and i wanted to play it on Multiplayer ( even if i dont know any thing about american driving style etc but well there is always free roam server so i wouldn't do much harm right? ) but when i launched the ATS it said to go to truckersmp, i pressed checked game but supported games didnt active ATS, do i need to buy the game for it to work or not?
