  1. Go to where ETS2 is installed. Do you have it installed on a separate drive? You just need to locate where the game is then add that directory. Follow this

Don't copy mine directly, I've installed steam on a different drive so it's gonna be whatever path yours is.

  2. -1 as mentioned above there's that rule.

If I had to guess, not many people even read the rules anyway so most people would not know what to do at flashing red lights.

It's common sense really, I always skip the reds where the only intersections lead off the map so there's 0 chance of hitting anyone, plus the radar makes it safe to do so anyway at quiet areas.

I sometimes do that too but the problem is when you have a load and want to finish it. Then you can't teleport to a garage.

Ahh that's a good point. I always repair/maintain my truck inbetween deliveries.

  4. Good idea but hard to enforce.

There's really not much that can be done other than teaching players to only F7 Enter to get in, Then quick travel to the nearest garage to get out.

That's personally what I do. I drive into the city, if it's packed I'll just F7 Enter to get inside of it, if there's chaos trying to get out, then i'll just quick travel to the nearest garage and that's usually a short distance away, easy enough to get out of there.

  5. -1.

I don't live in the country I was born in and I only speak little local language, so I'd have to VPN it to get any relevant use out of it. Will probably lead to a lot of people speaking to me and me not being able to respond.

Plus, some of us want to keep where we are from hidden, I don't care tbh, I've made it public within view of this post but in game could be irritating, just saying it for the people who do care about hiding where they are from.

As an optional feature, yeah sure it's not bad, but I wouldn't want it mandatory.

  6. Cars caused me a lot of hassle today.

When I agreed that cars should be added to the game, I wanted vehicular diversity, not little skoda's flying around like stray bullets, but we can't let some people ruin the fun for everyone. Cars should remain IMO, just keep reporting the ones who abuse them.

  8. When I launch the game (both SP & MP) the intro works, it goes to profile select, then it just freezes...

No mods, I've verified game cache, I don't want to reinstall just yet but I'll do it if I have too..

Every other game works fine, so I doubt it's my system, pretty sure it's to do with the game..

Anyone got any solutions? Here's a vid..

Okay for some reason, if it freezes all I have to do is minimize, then open again.. which sucks, but even then, when it works it's only like, 5fps.. It's unplayable.

  9. +1

One easy method, as opposed to having to go into singleplayer then reload back into multiplayer should be a little box on the login screen or launcher that you tick if you want to delay the time it takes for you to connect by like 20 seconds. That way, you join, load in but there's a 20 second period that allows you time to move onto the side of the road. Similar to how it is when you join and it's full.

    Like this for example:

  10. Few more would be nice but we don't need tons of them, just gets confusing. Plus not many people actually use a lot of them, it's only really :o and :D that i see around here.

    +1 Conditionally from me

  11. It's to do with the time difference between Singleplayer and multiplayer. I'll demonstrate.

When you play on Singleplayer, the time counts only when you are playing. If you start playing on the 1st of June, don't play for a month, then go online, your game time will be 1st of June still, because you haven't been playing therefore time ingame stopped counting. Multiplayer, because the servers are usually always up, the time counts continuously even when you are offline. So if you start playing on the 1st of June, don't play for a month, log in, your game time will be 1st of august.

What's happened is, while you weren't playing, your game stopped counting time but the time on the MP server kept counting, so when you rejoined on MP, your game synchronises to the MP time, therefore, lets just say for example you were 2 ingame months behind.. Just by joining MP, 2 ingame months worth of drivers work was completed, thus profiting you a lot of money.

Because I've played MP for so long on the same profile most of my employees trucks have done several million miles and I've got billions in cash.  Your best bet really if you still want income but don't want ridiculous amounts is to hire a driver, maybe just one and only allow them to level up in one area, that will keep their level low and they wont earn much. I can also help if you'd like your cash reset on your profile without losing any trucks or stats if you want :)

  12. Maybe in chat, every 5 minutes^ It could list the areas where there are more than X people, for example "Update: There are over 100 players in: Calais, Duisburg, Rotterdam"

  13. Over the last couple days, for some reason when I browse here I get bombarded with untrusted certificate requests.

Some of them are obvious like peoples signatures for example, but others seem more random like dodgy holiday sites.

It only happens when I browse on here, I can search all day long and nothing but the second I come on here it's like, every few pages I go on this pops up with a different server each time.

    Anyone else getting this?

This ones a bad example but it's fine, it's just steam signatures but there's just so many of them recently and it's not been like this before.
