    Planning on making my own vtc/truck gathering group(truck meets) and I could use a few pointers from people who have been in alot or even owned vtcs. I owned one myself but that was a small group of people I already knew, I plan on doing something larger scale but idk how to go about doing it, as well as keeping track of members and alot of other things.

      Follow these guides:

      > Make sure you have the latest .Net Framework (4.7) & DirectX & Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 and use CCleaner to remove temporary files and obsolete registry paths.

      > You should start TruckersMP as admin. 

      > Also try to start TruckersMP with DirectX (64)

       

      Or

      > Go to Steam Library

      > Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2

      > Properties

      > Local Files

      > Verify Integrity of Game Files

    Hopefully I wasn't one of those guys that ruined the whole save editing thing for people, I had about 200 accessories on my truck and I myself was experiencing fps drops just having my lights on, if I were to even use my indicators or simply brake it'll drop another 10fps, not sure how it affected people around me

    It sucks when you say hi to people in-game they reply in such a hostile manner or don't at all. Too bad I don't make a billion and 12 idiots on the road videos to have people say hi back to me

      I usually say hi to people who say hi to me, unless I am driving and reply is not possible at the moment. Though if you are talking about "honk" hi, then screw that. I never reply to honking. I hate people honking at me for no reason. Honk to say "hi" is not a reason.

      I for one do not write while my vehicle is in motion.

      This is due to ensure the safety of road traffic, and is not meant to be rude, respectless or ignorant.

      @Mike Dragon nah lol, people hardly ever honk me. I use mouse steering and cruise control so, typing while driving is possible

    probably a minor windows update, the game itself isn't lagging or freezing, it's just my ping which is causing the jumps

    Sadly no @Crashon I've been playing truckersmp over wi-fi for 4 years and I've never had this issue , my ping is the same but it never had trucks freezing and jumping when I play at home until recently

    recently my ping has been around 230-300 compared to the usual 190 or even 220 but when i'm playing trucks seem to be stopping or jumping then my ping would be like 600-1800. The server never actually kicks me but when i'm driving people complain that i have "lags" what can i do to prevent this? if it helps , my bandwidth seems to have dropped significantly, could that be a problem? i've already done the following; Disable any firewalls Exit any applications that may be using up bandwidth Disable Automatic Updates Restart the router. the game itself isn't freezing or anything, my fps is constantly 40. i'm not sure if the router is overheating but i'm aware that could cause performance problems

    can someone help me? my ping is higher than usual, it's at 180-200 most of the time but players around me aren't jumpy like they are now(even though my ping is "only' 230 according to the game), then it jumps to like 800 or even like 1800 and it never kicks me. However my ping always seems high for some reason and i don't know what's causing it and not to mention the game doesn't even kick me

      sometimes I had this problem too

      Sometimes my ping is 3000+ ms :(
