  1. Hi there,

First of all, i'd like to preface this by saying that the Launcher you are using is not officially sanctioned or supported by TruckersMP. This is just something some nice person has made.

Second, i'd like to say that i'm no Linux superuser (pun intended) and i'm only going of the basic knowledge that I have.

Can you access TruckersMP normally without Promods?

The Launcher that you're describing is supposed to be used with Wine, I would assume you are using this to run the application. Following this (my knowledge of this is very small), would you not need the Windows version of ETS2 installed through Wine and then try Launching the client. The Linux version of ETS2 isn't supported in anyway by TruckersMP.

Lastly, have you tried launching without the -m command? Maybe this will work when it tries to use the default location for mods. Try putting all the Promods files into this folder too.

Hope I have maybe helped or made your brain tick a bit into resolving the issue yourself. 🙂

  2. Hi there,

Is this an issue that is taking place with TruckersMP or just single-player?

I will assume this is a single-player issue due to how you've described your issue.

Have you tried changing your In-Game Graphics settings? You can do this by clicking on "Options" then "Graphics" and clicking on a suitable preset that would match your computer specifications. Anything from "Medium" upwards, you should see a visible difference in game quality.

If this still fails or resets after you restart the game. Have you ensured that you have no longer got any command line arguments in the ETS2 properties on Steam and your launch options are set to "Ask when starting a game" or "Play Euro Truck Simulator 2"? You can access this page by Right Clicking ETS2 in Steam and clicking Properties:

  3. Hi there,

I'm sure you are rather frustrated at the incident that you were involved in here. As a matter of fact, i'm sure anyone would be.

However, Game Moderators are not able to be online all the time and everywhere at once. The TruckersMP Team have people from all over the world to ensure that there are people about during all time zones. Naturally, the Euro Truck Simulator 2 attracts a more European player base than US or Oceanic, this can lead times where there are less moderation staff around during these areas day time.

The ingame report system is dealt with on a First In First Out system which means reports that came in first are dealt with before last ones. As i'm sure you're aware, reports time out after around 10-15 minutes, this is due to there being lots of reports that get sent into the system but it takes quite a lot of time for moderators to deal with them. If they weren't to expire, there would be hundreds, if not thousands of reports that would be impossible to get through.

I see you have some video evidence of the perpetrator here. As i'm sure you're aware, there is online reporting system in place so that the perpetrator can receive a punishment for their actions. I understand this is not ideal in the moment, but it ensures that they definitely don't get away with their actions.

You can find more information about the reporting system here: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/8 https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/10

  4. Hi there,

I have tested this myself and can only deduce this being either an intentional choice by the TruckersMP Developers or a bug.

I've tried to find a post on the forum that also shows this issue but I have been unsuccessful.

I'd suggest that you make a Bug Report by creating a support ticket. More information can be found in the 'Confirmed Bugs' section of the Forum: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/forum/7-confirmed-bugs/

  5. Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no option to be able to change the default TruckersMP keybind settings that control the CB Radio, Chat and User Interface.

This is a planned feature for the future however there is no planned eta. This is confirmed by Community Management in this post:

  6. Hi there,

TruckersMP is based in Poland thus is dictated by EU rules and GDPR regulations.

There is an option on the TruckersMP website under 'Settings' which allows you to delete your account to comply with those regulations.

Bans are linked to your Steam ID which is public information and when creating a new account after deleting your previous, they will still be reinstated

  7. HI there

Open your documents folder and click "ETS2MP". Then inside that should be a config.txt file - open that with Notepad.

In there is a list of all the settings for TMP and under "generals" you will find "tag_color" and then a 7 digit number. This is a decimal color. Go to this website https://convertingcolors.com/ and type in your RGB / Hex code and convert it to Decimal.

Once you have your Decimal color, just replace the number in your config.txt file and save it. Then you're good to go with your new tag color

  8. Hi,

Im not sure the above will work, however I wouldn’t recommend the OpenGL renderer, especially on MP. DirectX will work better.

    1. Try checking your GPU drivers are up to date

    2. Make sure you have the latest .NET Framework - download here

    3. Open the TruckersMP Launcher and click “F1”, this will delete all existing TMP files and you will be required to download them again.

    4. Run the TruckersMP Launcher as an Administrator.

    I hope this helps :)

  9. Hi,

You say about "decompilation" - By modifying, decompiling or reverse engineering any part of the TruckersMP Client or Launcher is a breach of the Rules and EULA.

I think the Developers would have something to say to that...

Uploading a FREE mod to a not-shitty website isn't piracy. It's not like this is a paid mod.

    Please watch your language.

However, please refer to my response above to understand why this mod is hosted there.

Also, please refer to our rules and local copyright and piracy laws which relate to redistribution and hosting.

The Author of the mod doesn't want the mod hosted anywhere, and this being his creation, he holds copyright and can do what he wishes with it. The same reason you cannot reupload TruckersMP to another site.
