It's been a very busy Christmas week, having worked for the whole time, and really looking forward to some time off....maybe soon, if I'm lucky!

Welcome back to the team

A little over 10 months ago, on a cold, dark January night, I had just finished driving at a Prime VTC Convoy. Nothing unusual about that. I had not long rejoined the Game Moderation Team, and I left the PC to get myself a drink, and when I returned about 5 minutes later, I was surprised to see that I had not shut the game down. So, I tabbed back in, and found the parking lot almost empty except for one guy who was parked next to me, trying to talk to me. Vaugely regonising the name as one guy who had spoke with me on a few other events, I replied apologising for not being there but I was AFK at the time.

 

This person was @HandOfClash

 

We spoke a little bit more, and then decided to go for a drive on the famous C-D, well, where else, right?

We met in Dortmund when the server was at its peak (remember those times? ) and embarked on what would be the first of many, many drives together.

We drove to Dover, where we spoke for almost an hour ingame, watching things happening, in what was one of the most unusual, yet nicest moments I have ever had in TMP, and from then on, it's just got better, and better.

Although my this stage it was almost 2am, we still drove again, like so many times since, we still have a great time

 

André, all I have to say now is, you were one of the few people who helped to get me through lockdown, supporting me and each other through what were difficult times, keeping me busy and keeping me laughing all the time. I am so proud to be able to call you one of my best friends, to have met you in person earlier this week was one of the best times so far.

Good Evening TruckersMP!

 

It has been a very interesting week, both personally, professionally and online! A recent job promotion has taken a lot of my time, and some personel issues which are pretty much behind me.

 

I took a break from most online activities within Pries Logistics, but ultimately, I could not stay away from them for too long, as I missed the atmosphere and friendship far too much!

Time for another status update! It's been a while, and I don't have an awful lot to say!

 

In between working and training in my new role, I have been exploring more of the amazing ProMods map, found the time to take some screenshots alongside @HandOfClash

Just now, I have been exploring a recent addition to Iraq, Al Qa'im. Very surprising to see this scribbled on a building! Someone in the ProMods mapping team definitely has good taste!!



I recently had the great honour to be promoted within Pries Logsitics to be promoted to General Manager, which naturally takes up even more of the limtied free time I had, but it is a very enjoyable and rewarding role!

It's been a couple of weeks since my last update. Not as much in-game activity as I would have liked, yet again real world stuff keeps me occupied most of the time!

 

Nonetheless, I am happy to post a few screenshots of what has happened over the last few weeks

Finally, last night I helped out at GlobalTurk's Public Convoy. A picture at the end was made with @FR2005. Nice to meet you!

Good Morning Truckers MP & The World!

Just trying to sound a little more awake than I actually am whilst typing this...

 

Had a cracking time last night at Truckers MP Easter Egg Hunt, playing the part of the Red Egg for the last few hours. Wonderful to see so many familar and new faces enjoying the event! 

 

These last few weeks ones presences in Truckers MP has been rather limited, having rediscovered the world of Single Player Mods once again, only this time in American Truck as well, which really doesn't get the love it deserves.

 

So, here is a photo taken within the Utah DLC area of my lovely little Mack R I am currently using, quite an old model, but has she got some noise to her!!

 

 

Also, restarted ETS SIngle Player, with Promods and RusMap addons, as well as about 75 other graphic, weather, truck and tuning  mods. All coming together to really add another element to this wonderful game we all love to play. 

 

 

This week I should be more visible again at convoys and events, as well as Pries Logistics own 2 Year Anniversary next week (13th April) which I really cannot wait for!!!

Good Morning Truckers! It's been some time since I last posted an update on here. I have been trying to take a bit of a backseat these past few weeks, but it's not working out, so lets throw some photos out there!!   

 

One from yesterday (24th March) after a nice drive with @MsMist on the C-D Road! @Noah C.joined in at the end for a picture, too! 

On Tuesday 23rd, Pries Logistics hosted a private Heavy Haul convoy from Felixstowe to Glasgow, escort by me, and with assistance from the wonderful @CuteCateveryone made it safe and sound! Here we both are with fellow Pries Driver @MatzeOnTour!
