The lovely staff at Rising Logistics put on a private birthday convoy for me today, which was finished off by finally visiting somewhere I had never been too, despite several failed attempts across the years. The "Center of the Earth" easer-egg on Svalbard, Norway! Thank you guys for the convoy and for this final great surprise

Hello Boss

Good Morning TruckersMP!

 

Its been a little while since I made one of these status updates. Ever since my departure from Pries Logistics at the start of the year, it's been a real challenge to find anywhere that actually felt like I belonged at. My profile will now forever be tarnished with the stains of several failed attempts, but now, I feel like I may have found the right place within Rising Logistics!

Not only that, but the enthusiasm that has disappeared for so long is finally back, and despite being in their community for only a few days, is already starting to feel right.  

I look forward to seeing you all back out on the roads again soon!

Good evening TMP! It's been a little while since I bored you all with a little update.

 

Not a lot of interest has been happening recently at least not in the online world. I am still a happy member of Golden Phoenix Express, and I recently accept a new role as an External Event Supervisor with Auroa VTC. @Gummy. owes me an Airbus A321 NEO ACJ, don't let him forget.

 

I've also been very impressed with the latest tuning DLC from SCS, the Renault T Tuning Kit, which has totally transformed the truck into an absolute beauty!

Who’s going to be the best GM now?

I must say this TruckersMP HQ Project is going well. Not only have they got the framework started, but the whole thing has shifted about 40KM's South-West of where it started! Very impressive. Either way, I quite enjoy the new layout. A lot easier to drive around. Although I can only imagine the choas on Simulation 2 server.

A New Year, A New Begining!

 

At the start of this year, I was sadly removed from Pries Logistics, a VTC that I had done a lot for, given a lot of my time and effort into making one of the most respected and recognisable VTC's. This has now been all but sent to waste. A shame, that nearly 2 years of this can be gotten rid of in a single message.

 

That was on January 1st, fast forward to now, and I have, alongside some close friends, finally brought to light something I had wanted to do for some time. Creating my own VTC. This project encapsulates the values I feel that a lot of VTC's have missed these past few months. The spirit of the game. Royal Transport hopes to bring some of this back, by encouring our drivers to drive together, at events and convoys or simply delivering jobs, spending time together, and making new friends along the way. So far, the project is looking really good, with 13 members, our standalone job tracker, and a website with drivers hub.

It's been a very busy Christmas week, having worked for the whole time, and really looking forward to some time off....maybe soon, if I'm lucky!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

Welcome back to the team

A little over 10 months ago, on a cold, dark January night, I had just finished driving at a Prime VTC Convoy. Nothing unusual about that. I had not long rejoined the Game Moderation Team, and I left the PC to get myself a drink, and when I returned about 5 minutes later, I was surprised to see that I had not shut the game down. So, I tabbed back in, and found the parking lot almost empty except for one guy who was parked next to me, trying to talk to me. Vaugely regonising the name as one guy who had spoke with me on a few other events, I replied apologising for not being there but I was AFK at the time.

 

This person was @HandOfClash

 

We spoke a little bit more, and then decided to go for a drive on the famous C-D, well, where else, right?

We met in Dortmund when the server was at its peak (remember those times? ) and embarked on what would be the first of many, many drives together.

We drove to Dover, where we spoke for almost an hour ingame, watching things happening, in what was one of the most unusual, yet nicest moments I have ever had in TMP, and from then on, it's just got better, and better.

Although my this stage it was almost 2am, we still drove again, like so many times since, we still have a great time

 

André, all I have to say now is, you were one of the few people who helped to get me through lockdown, supporting me and each other through what were difficult times, keeping me busy and keeping me laughing all the time. I am so proud to be able to call you one of my best friends, to have met you in person earlier this week was one of the best times so far.

Good Evening TruckersMP!

 

It has been a very interesting week, both personally, professionally and online! A recent job promotion has taken a lot of my time, and some personel issues which are pretty much behind me.

 

I took a break from most online activities within Pries Logistics, but ultimately, I could not stay away from them for too long, as I missed the atmosphere and friendship far too much!

Time for another status update! It's been a while, and I don't have an awful lot to say!

 

In between working and training in my new role, I have been exploring more of the amazing ProMods map, found the time to take some screenshots alongside @HandOfClash

Just now, I have been exploring a recent addition to Iraq, Al Qa'im. Very surprising to see this scribbled on a building! Someone in the ProMods mapping team definitely has good taste!!



I recently had the great honour to be promoted within Pries Logsitics to be promoted to General Manager, which naturally takes up even more of the limtied free time I had, but it is a very enjoyable and rewarding role!
