Greetings all! 

I wanna create this first post to get you guys to know a bit about me!

The name is Red and I am what you call, fresh, to TruckersMP, however, doesn't mean I don't know my stuff! 

In the world of TMP, I am the CEO of the VTC called ALPHA Logistics which is still a work in progress as of this very moment. In the Real world, I am not a Truck Driver (Yet), although I am a Fleet Manager of 6 Artic's + 8 Cat.C's for a
well-known Retail Firm in the United Kingdom! 

On the side, I am a daily Twitch Streamer which I also stream ETS2 + TMP with other sorts of games! 

Please know, I don't bite! I'm a very open person you can talk with! If anything I am happy to help people with anything to the best of my knowledge & skills. I may start working on creating YouTube videos again but will see how that goes.

ALPHA Logistics NEWS

Good morning everyone! We have some exciting News at ALPHA Logistics Today! 

The team & I are putting together the Fleet's Uniform colours on all the transport, including our Escort Cars! Which will follow by screenshots and much more to create our adverts, and we are going to give you all a sneak peek beforehand! 

Our Driving Auditor ( PDragongirl20 ) is also working on our Driving School at this very moment, to allow New Members to join our very Ranks to becoming ALPHA Drivers. If you are wanting to join our ranks and require more information, send either myself or PDragongirl20 a Private message. 

Adding to the topic, we are in fact looking for Members to join our Staff Ranks too!
The roles that are open at the moment are;
1 x Marketing
1 x Public Relations (PR)
1 x Fleet Managers
2 x Supervisors
Pilot Drivers
Discord Mods

Other than that, we are working hard on setting up our Discord! Which will have a Public & Team Member Side to it. We will be planning to get a basic web page & email as well in the near future.

PROVIDE OTHER TRUCKERS WITH SAFE OVERTAKING SPOTS
(Heavy Haul)
 

Introduction

We all had that one moment “My truck will be fine! It's strong enough” or, then turns out your truck struggles with the standalone in-game speed. After a little while, you find out it's getting busy and you don't want to cause a queue... So what do you do?

I am going to provide you with easy steps that not only will help you let people past, but it will also help other truckers avoiding possible crashes! 

The best thing to do is to let them overtake! However, it depends what road and location you're at to know how safe it is to overtake.

Pre-Checks
1) Look at the Road Ahead as far as you can, seek any possible junctions that may interfere on both sides.
2) Check the Truck (or amount of Trucks) behind you and see how close they're to you
3) Maintain your speed to a reasonable speed for Overtaking

After you've done all that, and made sure it's all safe. Time to communicate with the Truckers behind you! Look at the following to know what to do on a certain road type.

Single Lane - No Barriers:
1) Indicate to the Hard shoulder and slowly Decrease your speed.
2) Place your truck 50/50 over the Hard shoulder Line.
3) Halt your truck and Turn On your Hazzard Lights on - Hand Break on if required. 

Single Lane - Barriers:
1) Indicate to the Hard shoulder and slowly Decrease your speed.
2) Drive your Truck close as possible to the Barrier/Hard Shoulder with Hazzard Lights on Immediately
3) Halt your truck with Hand Break on.

Dual/Tri Lane - No Hard Shoulder:
1) Maintain a Fixed Speed and Flash your Hazards for 2 Cycles
2) Quickly Indicate to the open lane for 2 Cycles
3) Allow the Truck to pass, if they don't begin to Overtake Repeat Step 1 & 2 Again. 

Dual/Tri Lane - Hard Shoulder:
1) Indicate to the Hard shoulder and slowly Decrease your speed.
2) Place your truck into the Hard shoulder Line.
3) Halt your truck and Turn On your Hazzard Lights on - Hand Break on if required. 

And there you have it! You've done yourself and the surrounding Truckers a favor! 

PLEASE NOTE: 
This is by no means a rule or anything of the sort! Only a guide to provide a little awareness and safety to others around you! It's to help with reducing crashes on TruckersMP / help people be more careful with Heavy Haulage.
