I know this idea is rowdy because ETS2 has yet to implement official updates, but if it was snowing, then the road would be icy, thus, you can slip. If it's raining, similar principle. If no weather conditions exist, then the performance of vehicles will be unaltered.
Personally dislike the physic changes. Almost like you slip on ice if you're too rough with speed and bumps. Understandable if it was integrated thru the winter mod but when the weather seems reasonably calm and it looks like you just slip randomly, it's annoying.
