I quite like this idea! If it operated like Twitch's mentioning system, that would be very useful. For example, you must @ the ID: "@5678 hello!". I feel like this would be great at events, or in other areas of high player density, such as Calais or Duisburg. +1

I really like this suggestion! It opens a whole new world for your creativity— which I'm all for. I particularly like the part of the suggestion where you mention adding the truck paint jobs to the cars. This would be great for those in VTCs, who prefer using the Scout car on their travels; or, in my situation, for the occasional car and caravan convoy I partake in with the other drivers in our VTC. +1

Understandable to see the group being closed down. I used to frequent the group quite often, however, I could see some quite toxic behaviour when it came to the likes of Pride Month. With that experience, I can completely see why the final decision was to close the group. To those who seem disappointed by the decision, I don't understand why the TruckersMP Discord server, or the forums, can't be a better substitute for the Facebook group for you. Both the server and the forums offer you the same services, as far as I'm aware, and seem to be used by more of the TruckersMP players. The closure of the group, however, really does signify the gradual death of Facebook, as a whole. The network has slowly become less, and less, active over time, and— to me— TruckersMP closing their Facebook group marks the start of other organisations doing the same. I'm not saying they're the first to do it, but they're the first organisation, which is close to me, that has done it— making it more symbolic to me. Personally, I don't mind the demise of Facebook, as I have never particularly liked the social media network. But, to some, this is the end of an era— similar to the death of MySpace and Bebo.

Disappointed that I couldn't have been there to show support for the LGBTQ community. I'm so pleased however to see the amount of people who attended the event, even in a niche gamemode such as TMP. We love you LGBTQ people, even if the malicious few try to cause pain. The TMP community, alongside the VTC families will always be here for you.
Thanks for posting these pictures. A lovely celebration to behold.

HARMONY CONVOYS: MAY 2020
Huge thank you to everyone who came out and showed support for our first-ever charity event yesterday!
We've managed to raise £452 so far, for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO. We never could've imagined this.

I attended the festival on Friday and the ETS2 convoy on Saturday— both of which were great fun! My most memorable moment in TruckersMP has to be when myself and a few others, went for a drive in Iceland, during the first week of the ProMods x TruckersMP partnership! Safe to say we didn't make it to our destination without flipping a few times... ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2019 is nearly over, and a new year (and decade) is about to begin.
This status update is simply for me to look back on, and show my appreciation for this community, the people in it, and the things I have experienced this past year.
I am not going to intentionally highlight any specific people below, because I am definitely going to forget someone and feel bad.
Here's to a new year, full of new beginnings and experiences.

April - Easter Eggstravaganza 2019: A major highlight this year was helping to plan and host Easter Eggstravaganza 2019— my first major event to plan!
May - #TMP5: TruckersMP turned five this year! Definitely some memorable moments made on the infamous birthday server...
June - Pride Month: My third Pride Month celebrated as an openly gay man— so, I celebrated with a stunning paint job!
July - Midsummer Madness 2019: The first-ever major event I founded was held! I couldn't have done this without the help of my favourites, @Savage. and @sanamaria.
August - FreightFM: I joined FreightFM as their Event Manager! I had so much fun planning regular convoys for the station.
September - Harmony Convoys: The first-ever edition of Harmony Convoys took place! I'm so grateful to be working on this project with some of my closest friends.
October - Raising Breast Cancer Awareness: We went pink for a month, in order to raise awareness for breast cancer.
October - Multiplayer ProMods: We were finally able to truck across thousands of kilometers of new road with friends, when ProMods and TruckersMP partnered up.
December - Celebrating: I spent more time this month with friends, and appreciating the bonds we made over the past year.
And that's it! It's hard to believe 2019 has come to an end already.
This year holds so many memories I will never forget, and I'm so grateful I spent them with close friends.
Thank you for being a part of my year, and I can't wait to spend the next year with you again!

WOW! I'm absolutely speechless from the support for Harmony Convoys this month. You continue to surprise me.
Thank you for helping us grow and come this far in such short time. We continue to break our attendance records, convoy, by convoy.
On top of that, we managed to get our first event server, and it's all thanks to you.
We look forward to seeing you again next month

Took my first multiplayer ProMods journey with some friends from Calais to northern Iceland, via Dublin, Ireland-- my homeland! Was definitely interesting, to say the least. Many bumps, hills, and winding roads to enjoy. Many quicksaves were loaded and F7+Enter's made, but that's all part of the experience I think. I hate being the typical person to suggest Iceland, but it's the only place I've really visited on singleplayer ProMods, so I don't know many other places. Singleplayer was boring, despite the beautiful scenery ProMods provides-- so, TruckersMP and ProMods together is the perfect mix for me. Here's to hours, and hours more of exploring fun!

PROMODS!
Multiplayer ProMods is finally here! Truly a dream come true. Here's to many more memories with friends to be made...
Spent the evening at the EHH Third Anniversary Event. The server issues gave me a chance to take some photos of my beautiful Merc.
I then ventured into Iceland on ProMods with my favs, which caused for an interesting journey which went on into the early hours of this morning.
Hope you're enjoying ProMods as much as I am!
