  1. Hey @dr. will, Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I will be declining this suggestion as you have not followed the correct format as indicated before posting. With the above said we do already have an American based event server. For community events, this can be requested when submitting an event request and we will happily utilise this server for your event (Subject to availability). Thanks, Velo
  2. Hey @Chemistry_TMP, Thank you for your suggestion. While we do like your suggested idea, unfortunately on this occasion we will decline it. This is simply due to it not being as simple as having X amount of servers left. We have multiple variables that dictate how many event servers are available, so this would not work with our current systems and processes. We typically only have an issue with server capacity on a Saturday, so if you are worried about not being able to gain an event server, I would strongly recommend looking to host an event on another day. Thanks, Velo
  3. Hey @Brawni, Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I am going to decline this suggestion. This is not because we do not like your idea, but due to us recently accepting another very similar suggestion. Instead of having a button to automatically sort events in date order rather than the order you signed up for these events, our system now automatically sorts these for you. Thanks, Velo
  4. Hey @Stones8000, Thank you for your question. The general rule is 1 event per month (aka monthly event), however, this is not a solid restriction as we allow VTCs and event groups to host extra events outside their monthly events, such as for their anniversary, or seasonal events. With that said we unfortunately can not turn around and simply allow all VTCs and event groups to host 2 (or more) events per month for example as we simply do not have server capacity for this currently. It is very much expected that if some VTCs begin hosting more than one event regularly, a large influx of other VTCs and event groups will wish to do the same. We have previously allowed some verified VTCs to host more than one event server in a month for a special occasion such as their anniversary (so they hosted a 2 part week/weekend event). They have had the option to host one on the weekend and one in the week (Mon-Thu) or they can wait until closer to the time to see if a second server is available to host both on the weekend (Fri-Sun). This is to allow other VTCs and event communities to get a chance to host an event that weekend too. (Please note this is only reserved for Verified VTC at this time) If a VTC wished to host a monthly convoy and then host a Christmas special event or Halloween special for example, we have no concerns here as long as it does not turn into a monthly thing. We have had VTCs in the past do a similar thing to this, so they ended up hosting maybe 14 event servers in the year rather than 12. (Please take note that a "special" would require 100 sign-ups as it is not part of your monthly circuit.) It is important to emphasise that we are restricted with how many event servers people can host a month as we only have a set amount of servers. To give you an idea, we have 5 servers based in Europe for community events and 1 server set in North America which can be used upon request. This means we can only host 6 events concurrently (Often only 5 unless the NA server is used). We are already at a point where sometimes we are running at capacity on a weekend (between Friday-Sunday) and this has been seen to be happening more regularly over the past few weeks/months, so even allowing just verified VTCs (this is around 60) the option to host 2 event servers each month would result in an average of 2 extra event servers every single day which is simply not fair on everyone else who wishes to host an event and would need to fight to gain an event server. As you are likely aware we have previously approved some VTCs to host weekly event servers, so I will touch on this below too: RLC was previously granted weekly servers for their events for a long period of time, however, they did not receive this easily. Their events were run on a public server every week for over a year with 200-300+ attending every single week. This proved to Event Management that a public server was not fit for these events as it was not only affecting their event, it was also affecting general players who were just free roaming on our public servers. As a result, their servers were automatically granted under "Required to ensure non-attendees will not suffer from the event (at the Event Management’s discretion)". We would not allow a weekly server for an event group or VTC for just meeting 50/100 confirmed sign-ups, they would need to prove over a long period of time that they are constantly receiving high attendance which is affecting general players on the server. This would then need to be heavily reviewed and frequent audits conducted by Event Management to help judge the situation. To conclude, we constantly monitor our server activity to review how we can ensure everyone who meets our requirements can gain an event server, and we adjust our event request requirements where necessary to ensure that events that meet our high expectations can continue to gain a server. However, as our server usage is continually rising it is not possible at this time to make any big changes on how many events, VTCs can host per month. I hope this gives you a better insight and if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks, Velo
  5. Hey @Chemistry_TMP Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, we have decided to reject your suggestions on this occasion. I will respond to each of your points below: 1. Request for change of nickname color to event server requester. Upon further review, we do not see the necessity to change the event requestees in-game name colour. All Event Staff members can be recognised by the Event Staff tags which have been approved in the Temporary Rules. 2. Added notification commands only from the event server. We do not have any plans to implement a new chat system just for event organisers that is separate from the system our admins utilise. Players can utilise the standard messaging system to announce departures etc. If you require messages to be sent in different areas, we would recommend asking another Event Staff member to assist or ask if a Game Moderator on the server would be willing to assist with server-wide announcements. 3. I hope that Tab will show all users who connect to the server only for the event server There is no need for an event organiser to see if a player is free-roaming away from the event route. Our Game Moderators are available to monitor for freeroamers on your event server and will deal with them appropriately. 4. When connecting to an event server with temporary rules, I would like you to let me know more about temporary rules, such as the notification that comes when the TrucksMP Rule changes. We currently have future plans in place to implement a system that will list the Temporary Rules upon joining a server. 5. kick system modification - Kick automatically for user when a large number of reports are received. Unfortunately, we do not have any plans on implementing a kick system on event servers due to this being easily abused. Thanks, Velo

  8. Hey @CorniTv0100, Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, we have decided to reject your suggestion on this occasion. This is due to the kick and ban permission being a very powerful tool within our game and should only be reserved for specific TruckersMP staff groups that have undergone the appropriate training. We have been reviewing how we can improve moderation presence at community events over recent months and hope to have a new process implemented later this year. If you require Game Moderation support at your events please continue to request this on your event server request and we will continue to do our utmost best to support your request. (Please note this request is for general moderation and enforcement of the TruckersMP Official Rules and Temporary Rules, not server announcements, TPC etc). Thanks, Velo
  9. Hey @Grundii, Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, we have decided to reject your suggestion on this occasion. This is due to the ETS2C chat box being rarely used for a useful purpose and when a question was asked it was rarely answered. Our event pages already offer you the ability to link a Discord, Teamspeak or similar server where your questions will likely be answered much quicker. Instead, we are currently considering how we could implement a system for event organisers to send updates/changes to players who have registered interest in their event. Thanks, Velo

  14. Hey @Trail_Duck, It is a known issue that cargo for the Halloween event is not showing on the Krone trailers. Our Add-on team are working hard to get this resolved and hopefully a fix will be found very soon

  16. When the change was initially implemented so you could not disable the announcement there were a lot of media members not happy with this change. Server announcements are often important, but when it comes to staff wanting to conduct videography or photography it can often be a massive headache for those too. It is definitely interesting to see the mix views on this topic.
