  1. I both agree and disagree with you, and I'll explain why. It's true that you're not a banning service, and it's also true that adding more slots for reporting players could encourage some people to report more easily, especially by deliberately going to areas with high player density. However, we mustn't forget that we're playing a multiplayer game, the very purpose of which is to ride with other people. If the majority of players are concentrated in the same place, it makes sense that we ride where that large number of players are. Of course, we can ride with our friends, but the goal is also to meet and ride with players we don't necessarily know. However, the only time this is truly possible is during peak hours, when there are between 3,000 and 4,000 players connected to the server. What I find particularly unfortunate is that if SCS had found a way to avoid creating this infamous route which is also accessible without DLC most players would naturally spread out along other paths. This would allow for a better distribution of players across the entire map, with more activity in all corners, and would encourage travel outside the most crowded areas. Of course, I acknowledge that adding extra slots could indeed incentivize some people to report more players by intentionally going to the most frequented areas, but that remains my opinion.
  2. No, it's just that in situations that should be resolved with a ban, the staff prefers to apply a less severe sanction, and as a result, what happens is I lose quite a few reports because of it.
  3. I disagree with you. Currently, I'm limited to 6 reports, and the problem is that I have over thirty reports to submit. With the end-of-year holidays, unfortunately, I think many reports shouldn't be posted because they'll easily exceed 7 days.
  4. Hello, I disagree with your suggestion. In my opinion, it's highly unlikely that TMP will accept it. Currently, the only way to support TMP is through the Patreon payment system. Regarding sanctions, when a player is sanctioned, it's because a moderator has made a decision based on the observed facts. I don't believe a staff member would sanction someone without a valid reason, except in cases of corruption, which seems completely unthinkable to me. The only situation where a ban could be applied in error would be a misjudgment of the seriousness of the actions, for example, when a situation would warrant a simple kick rather than a ban.
  5. Suggestion Name: Rear Windshield Flashing Lights for Scout & Pilot Vehicles Suggestion Description: I would like to suggest the addition of flashing lights mounted on the rear of the windshield, similar to those used on real police vehicles, but adapted for Scout Cars and pilot vehicles in TruckersMP. These lights would be installed inside the vehicle, behind the rear windshield, and would function as an additional emergency or warning light option, alongside the existing beacons and light bars. This feature could be integrated into the Scout Car Tuning Pack, allowing players to enable or disable these rear windshield lights via customization, ensuring flexibility and avoiding forced usage. The main purpose of these lights would be to improve visibility from behind, especially in situations involving: Pilot cars escorting oversized loads Convoys Reduced visibility conditions (night, rain, fog) Any example images: https://imgur.com/xNRh6Y4 https://imgur.com/ekUXALL Why it should be added: Increased realism: Rear windshield flashing lights are widely used in real-life police and escort vehicles and would fit naturally within the TruckersMP realism philosophy. Improved safety and visibility: Lights positioned at the rear of the windshield are highly visible to following drivers, reducing the risk of rear-end collisions. Better immersion for oversized load escorts: This would allow pilot cars to play a more functional and realistic role, especially if TruckersMP expands oversized load mechanics in the future. Consistent with recent updates: TruckersMP has already added new flashing lights and customization options, and this suggestion builds logically on those improvements. Optional and non-intrusive: As a tuning option, it would not affect players who prefer a more standard vehicle setup. Overall, this feature would be a small but meaningful addition that enhances realism, immersion, and road safety without negatively impacting gameplay balance.
  6. Indeed, the problem lies primarily with the players: they do whatever they want, they make dangerous decisions, and cause accidents. But we mustn't forget that before this infrastructure was put in place, players could also turn at the last minute. The difference is that back then, the area was much wider, which made it easier to clear the road in the event of a collision. Today, with the current layout, everything has become narrower. As a result, when a player hits another truck on the right side and pins it against the safety barrier, two heavy goods vehicles can no longer pass side by side. This immediately creates a huge traffic jam. Without a moderator present to intervene quickly, this blockage can extend for hundreds of meters, because most players refuse to use the F7. Of course, the situation existed before, with the same reckless players blocking the road. But the difference is that it didn't paralyze traffic as much. Most of the time, collisions remained manageable and traffic moved quickly thanks to the available space. Today, the tight layout is causing traffic jams that are disproportionate to the initial problem.
  7. Hello, thank you both for taking the time to respond to my suggestion. If I asked for a rollback before the change was made at the turn onto the highway, it's because there was a real problem. In reality, the problem hasn't been resolved; it's simply been moved a few meters upstream of the turn. In concrete terms, what we're seeing is players waiting until the last minute to merge into the lane to turn left. Their behavior is the main source of the chaos, and it's not solely related to the configuration of the intersection. Before the change, we already had this problem: some people would cut across the road at the last moment, using the wrong lane. What I want to emphasize is that before the installation of this new infrastructure, there were very few traffic jams at this location. Yes, it could happen that a player turned at the last second and caused a collision, but the traffic would move on fairly quickly. Today, with the current layout, the passage is narrower, and the slightest accident can cause traffic to remain blocked for much longer. Sometimes this can last several minutes, especially when players aren't using the F7 and there isn't a moderator available. This is why I suggest that TMP consider removing this infrastructure and returning to the old configuration. The new system only relocates the problem without eliminating it, and the situation was much easier to manage before.
  8. Suggestion Name: Remove the changes in Calais Suggestion Description: Honestly, it’s a complete mess. The changes have just added more chaos than there was before. Example images: Yes, my video | https://youtu.be/2jKXLdwrebI Why it should be added: I’ll be blunt, but it’s true—just watch the video I took when I passed through that area. I’ve never seen such a huge mess. You managed to create even more chaos than there was before. Honestly, I’d like to know the names of the staff who approved this project, because it just makes no sense.
  9. Yes, that's exactly it! The system already exists for moderators, and it's called Streamer Mode. Specifically, it allows you to: hide the moderator's username by replacing it with "You" in the TAB, display "The Suspect" when a player is selected, and "The Player" when no player is targeted. The idea would simply be to take this concept, already in place for moderators, and adapt it to streamers. TMP could even go further by creating an official role for streamers, with certain criteria to meet (a bit like for Community Contributors), in order to promote those who actively participate in the community. This role and mode could: help protect against stream hacking, provide visibility to serious content creators, and, above all, encourage the positive promotion of TMP, particularly with the latest new features released by SCS, which TMP has quickly integrated. In short, it would be a really excellent initiative to make this Streamer Mode official for creators, in order to strengthen the security, visibility, and overall quality of the community experience.
  10. I completely understand that some people find the one-year wait before a ban becomes inactive (and thus before being eligible to apply as a Game Moderator) very long. It is indeed a significant delay. However, it’s also important to highlight that not all bans issued by staff are necessarily fair or justified. Unfortunately, there are cases of abuse of power by certain staff members, and I’ve personally experienced that recently. The real issue, in my opinion, is finding a balance: applying the rules fairly and consistently, yes but without falling into excessive or automated punishments, especially for minor mistakes. Additionally, there have been recent recruitments to the moderation team, but the language barrier remains a real issue, especially for no English speaking players. And according to internal testimonies (including a former staff member), there appears to be a weekly ban quota that staff must meet, which is very concerning. This turns moderators into ban machines, without always considering the actual context of incidents. As a result, even when you appeal a ban, there's a 99% chance it will be upheld, and maybe only a 1% chance it will be lifted. That’s incredibly frustrating and, in my view, unfair. If moderation showed a bit more leniency, especially towards long-time players (those with several thousand hours logged), it would help restore trust. There’s a big difference between a player with 3,000+ hours who makes a small mistake, and someone with only 50 hours who drives recklessly but never gets punished unless reported via the website. Another major issue is that in-game reports are rarely handled, forcing players to use the web report system if they want action to be taken. This slows down the process and allows toxic behavior to continue unchecked. Lastly, I want to mention my most recent ban, which is still active. It was for a minor offense: I slightly crossed into another lane while exiting a roundabout, resulting in a very minor collision barely noticeable. Despite explaining the situation, I received a 7 day ban for violations of §2.2 and §2.5. The response I got was that the ban was “reasonable” and “validated.” Once again, this kind of rigid, automatic treatment helps no one, especially not serious, dedicated players. I believe it’s urgent to reconsider the system, give competent moderators more room for judgment, and introduce more nuanced rules.
  11. I understand your point of view but if you are not a reporter or a streamer then you will not be able to understand my less seen. Know that stream sniping is also much more present than you think between the good guys and the bad guys it is annoying for us streamers if I propose this idea it is because unfortunately not long ago I was the victim of a stream sniping and for 8 minutes he pissed me off until they got up in the air hence the idea!
  12. If I proposed this option, it's not to hide inappropriate usernames or anything like that; if I proposed this option, it's mainly to prevent people who see us streaming, whether on Twitch or on YouTube, from joining us and putting themselves in front of us, either in the most normal way by respecting the rules and therefore just to show their username to say oh I'm on a stream, or people who don't care about the rules who will go on the stream because they put themselves in front of the streamer and they piss him off, they .oy. that's why I want to put this option because it happened to me recently that a guy who was ill-intentioned saw me on stream and saw that I was sending the nicknames said to himself well hey but we're going to see my nickname I'm going to piss him off well the guy is ordinary at the moment but that's the problem that's that's that there are people who are ill-intentioned and who absolutely want to show that they exist and so they go on streams to piss off the streamers and say to themselves well there you go I went on a stream that's why I want to put this option
  13. Suggestion Name: Option to hide usernames for streamers (while keeping TMP ID and chat visible) Suggestion Description: Add an option in the settings allowing players, especially streamers, to hide other players' usernames in-game, without disabling the HUD via the F11 key. This option would allow streamers to keep their interface (chat, map, TMP ID, etc.) visible while hiding only the usernames/usernames visible to nearby players, in the tab list, and above vehicles. Similar to the current F11 key, its functionality would be more selective and customizable, improving privacy without compromising usability. Sample Images: No images, this is a conceptual feature. Why add it: - Helps streamers avoid sniping or harassment during live streams. - Maintains access to important information like TMP IDs for reporting and chat visibility. - Promotes a safer and more professional streaming experience on TruckersMP. - Can also be useful for content creators who want to keep other players anonymous in their videos. - Optional and configurable, this will not affect regular players who want all names to be visible.
  14. I think you misunderstood what I meant. What's the point of offering multiple languages for the reporting system on the website, if the answers are always sent in English? In that case, it would make more sense to remove all other languages, which would simplify things and reduce an unnecessary category. Then, I would like to react to what you said, especially about the staffs. Okay, maybe all the current members of the TMP team speak English, but we should still think about reviewing the recruitment system. Why? Because there is a big problem: with more than 8,000 daily players and only about 200 staffs to manage in-game reports, it is insufficient. This deficit is huge. I have never seen such a situation anywhere else. I don't understand why TMP has not recruited more staffs to overcome this problem. Furthermore, if TMP were to organize a large recruitment wave while easing the condition of speaking English, it could attract motivated people, ready to improve their level of English. This is also my case: if TMP reduced this requirement or made it more flexible, I would apply immediately. Not only do I want to offer my services to TMP, but I also want to improve my English. I find it a shame that TMP absolutely requires that candidates have a perfect command of English, when they could simply ask candidates to understand it at a basic level. Personally, I understand English, even if I don't always know how to write it perfectly. However, I manage to make myself understood, and by spending more and more time on the game, my English is improving. There are words that I see regularly and that I end up learning to write and use in sentences. This is where the real advantage lies: improving while contributing to the game. This is why I propose to set up a mentor system within TMP, which would help new staff to progress in English while assuming their responsibilities.
  15. but ? I think you forgot to finish your sentence
