How is that possible for you to be on a dif version & play with people on 1.37? I thought when you said that in the beginning you meant people can follow you but not see you in game...mostly looking forward to finally getting proper horn placement!

Who are the other players that were on with you, seems to be a lot of them & nice bit of insulting in chat which is unprofessional & poor driving which honestly makes you guys look bad!

Is it illegal to have a tag that's a vtc but a dif colour etc....if so thats stupid! My Transinet tag was blue & theirs was red, yet they get salty & threaten to ban me...get over yourselves, you know how many vtcs there are??? its so stupid
This rule " acting like a member of a verified VTC you are not part of. This can be through the way you drive, use the voice chat, your avatar, your license/interior plates, username and/or your in-game tag. " is the issue, you literally cant put anything without someone kicking off over it.....My SP company is Transinet, funny how people can use TMP in red which everyone assumes your staff & nothing happens! But if its a totally dif colour & trucks are not the same colour who really cares honestly????

@Reaper Tried saying that & they got salty calling me an impersonator & wannabe etc saying " imagine getting banned for.... " Said Transinet has been a VTC for 3 months, really i never seen it till today! TMP rules are getting really stupid with that kind of thing, its like saying you cant drive an ambulance thats high viz green because it looks like the NHS A+E ones despite not having the NHS logo on...plenty of those about!

Wrong, if they released the source code they would face prison....People seem to forget that its a reverse engineered mod & that in itself is illegal! The fact SCS have an agreement with TMP ( They hired the original founder of the mod who has since left SCS ) instead of suing which at the time would have bankrupted the company. SCS releases 1.39 beta , TMP reaction ? ( its likely gonna be the same as they have recorded new sounds for the environment )

That's a valid point & what i'm beginning to wonder, time it comes out 1.39 posts are likely to surface along with the map dlc! Thing is no one knows what will be in them & then its a few weeks of the open beta before outs out so we are talking November time or late October...So depending on whats in it 1.38 is better than nothing. Edit: Just seen the latest SCS Blog post & it looks like we will possibly be in the same boat with future updates ( Iberia Sound Recording Trip ) which they said will be new samples used in the upcoming dlcs!

SCS have a mutual agreement with TMP, however the two will never join...As Pavel himself said " we tolerate each other " he even ref to the mod as a " battle royal " mode....SCS are going in the WOT Contracts route, using that system to create a virtual online economy in real time ( like how the recent events have worked ).

@mwl4 Out of interest, how much are all the servers etc costing annually or monthly? I dont think people realise just how much they cost! I admit all this programming talk goes way over my head but thank you for doing what you do...If it wasn't for you & Root this community wouldn't even exist

I'm sorry that i decided to drive with CC set to 40 Mph while pulling a 50t trailer ( concrete beams ) so as not to loose control etc....NOT ( just turned off the cd road fyi )

When I'm driving 80Km/h in the right lane on the motorway, if there are 3 lanes, 9 out of 10 speeders overtake me using leftmost lane, if there are only 2 lanes, they will often slow down and drive behind me for a while, before they proceed with overtaking. Must be, that driving like a sane person, at safe and realistic speeds, makes you suspicious of being a troll, that you are waiting for them to get next to you, so you can smash them.
I am sick of this approach, this lack of respect and excess of distrust, that thought, you are only there to break their "fun".
Also, love when they have "realistic driver" or "pro driver" in the tag, then smash you with the trailer as they blow past you.

@Granite I should point out i had just turned off the CD road when i took the picture! People get super angry when you drive carefully on the CD, purely so you dont flip over or crash due to the weight...I would go flat out otherwise

God so many angry people here, did anyone read the post... " Why do these updates take so long? Right now, only the Lead Developer 'MWL4' has the knowledge, skills, and tools to prepare the port from 1.37 to 1.38. In addition to him working on the update, he has personal commitments in the real world. The whole team are supporting him to the best of our abilities, but we are limited to only minor tasks. " Pretty clear!!!!

@BigBahamut /:\GER/:\ Christ & people call me a moaner etc, you take it to the next level! The WHOLE TEAM is still behind the project, Mwl4 hasn't put this to the side to work on the CyberPunk2077 " IT IS HIS REAL LIFE FULL TIME JOB ". He took over from his friend who started this mod way back & is so good at what he does in his free time that he was offered a job many can only dream of, its like making LSPDFR for GTAV & a few years later Rockstar Games calling you & offering you a position working on making GTAVI. The devs haven't abandoned the mod, they all have real life jobs & there's also the " slight " issue of a global pandemic going on!!!!

True although it varies on what they put in the patches, new trucks & trailers tend to be fairly quick to update where as a map rework or graphical change tend to take longer....

Everyone saying why is 1.38 taking so long, if Mwl is finding it a pain in the but you know its a tough fix / patch ( guy knows what hes doing ). If it was easy he would have smashed it pretty quickly so its obviously not!

IT will come when Mwl has the time to do it, obviously its a difficult update & as the post stated only he has the skill required to do it! Trust me, he would have smashed it by now if it wasn't that hard so obviously it is proving a pain even for him

They are working on something but its not a high priority, also it wouldn't wipe them off the surface because its down to the fan-base & millions of people play still! I believe the WOT stuff is their intended route to MP, other communities have failed because they simply don't have Mwl4...They are all mouth & no trousers because they simply have no idea what they are doing which is why they always have a fancy website but nothing else!
