True in that it might draw other players to it that only look to play with friends, but due to the player limit I think the main player base of TruckersMP should stay roughly the same. I definitely do think that since SCS is adding MP into the game that it would help TruckersMP development but hopefully some more experienced devs that have developed online games in the past can shed some more light onto it.

With SCS releasing their version of a multiplayer feature, I was wondering if, with it being native to the game, would it make it easier for the TruckersMP devs to release support updates or new features like the long awaited feature of AI traffic. I have a small background in development but not much in modding or online multiplayer so was wondering how this affected TruckersMP development and whether it can help or not.

Hey @MrChallenger_17, ETS2 save games are stored locally on your computer not on the World of Trucks servers. Your save game may be backed up on steam if you have ticked the option in-game to do so. However, it depends on whether that update had rolled out before or after you had stopped playing a year ago. Unfortunately, if you had the game uninstalled during that period of time, your save game is lost to my knowledge. There are however money mods (not multiplayer supported but do work in singleplayer) such as x4 money and xp for jobs that you can use to get back up to where you were last without having something crazy like a trillion dollars. Would be useful for reporting users especially since the feature is already available in a similar form for admins (from what I've seen of of YT). However since it is an admin feature it might not come over to player side.

This looks like a great idea. Definitely makes the master trucker tier more appealing. I would say however that an hour maybe a little too much. Thirty minutes would pry be a bit better. And yes while it does take up a slot on the server, the extra revenue from added patrons would make them and to add more slots to the existing servers or an extra server. +1
