  1. trying to get to the files is a hassle and I don't quite know how. but for opening them, just open them as a text file on notepad, if it doesn't work or it comes through encrypted, download and setup visual studio and use that, and if that doesn't work, try using WinRAR to extract the file as a compressed zip file( It should decrypt it during compression) if that doesn't work have it load in read only mode than switch it when you can, hopefully itll come through decrypted due to the read only attributions
  2. try clearing your ram cache. you can do this by following these steps. step 1. press windows+R step 2. type %temp% step 3. delete all files ( but if you run a server or a built in email server make sure not to delete files for those things, you can lose emails or server info) step 4. reboot your computer
  3. reset your computers modem. step 1. launch command prompt as administrator step 2. type ipconfig /release step 3. type ipconfig /renew step 4. reboot your computer. if that doesn't work. access your router settings (access info is usually located in the manual or on the bottom of the router) once in your router settings, find your DMZ (demilitarized zone) find out the i.p of your computer you can find this by searching command prompt on your computer, run it as an administrator. type in ipconfig, find your computers modem and find the ipv4 address. type that into the DMZ on your router. reboot the router and your computer. try again
  4. very unlikely to work but you can try clearing your ram cache and restarting your computer. how to clear ram cache: step 1. press windows+R step 2. type in %temp% step 3. delete all files ( if you have a server or a built in email program you use make sure to look for and don't delete any files for that, it could delete emails//server info) step 4. restart your computer
