    6 or 12 Speed?

    I use a 12-speed transmission. 6-speeds are just unrealistic. No modern day large-sized lorry would have such a little amount of gears.

    Try enabling settings such as truck speed limiter, air brakes simulation and realistic fuel consumption. Also try lowering the suspension stiffness, stability and braking intensity. Remember to stay within speed limits, obey all traffic laws and most importantly, always check your mirrors.
