Won't work, message will still require you to enable the DLC. Not sure on this, but let's let Clarkinator have a say in this, he's made a beginner save file not long ago, and had a similar Going East DLC issue. I will contact as soon as possible. Regards, Ken (Lemmonez)

Steam family sharing can not be played on ETS2MP, clarifying things here.

You can not play in the DLC without actually purchasing it. It's a copyright infringement and you may get sued, unfortunately. Regards, Ken (Lemmonez)

Uninstall your last version of ETS2MP and reinstall ETS2MP. It might be the Multiplayer that's asking for an update, but not enough information to confirm that... Regards, Ken (Lemmonez)

It's not yet patched to 1.17 yet. Please downgrade your game to 1.16.2 to play. To do so follow these steps Euro Truck Simulator 2 > Properties > Betas > Select 1_16_02 : 1.16.2 for incompatible mods Topic edited.
