  1. Thanks for making player dots appear further away! It will make overtaking so much easier because before the tab, map, and just looking ahead on the road wasn't reliable in high populated areas because they appear last second in some cases. I actually suggested that awhile ago so you guys can thank me for making that suggestion: https://forum.truckersmp.com/index.php?/topic/82460-make-the-blue-player-dots-appear-on-the-map-from-way-further-away/
  2. WARNING: DO NOT UPLOAD THE MOD TO OTHER SITES AND POST HERE YOU WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED IN GAME THAT HAPPENED TO ME AND OTHERS LAST YEAR. IF OTHER PEOPLE POST ON FORUMS DON'T QUOTE THEIR POST THAT WILL ALSO GET YOU BANNED! Just be patient and wait for the download servers to not be so crowded or what you could have done is download winter mod before truckersmp supports it, which is what I did. It's great they're supporting it for ats even though I don't play atsmp it's nice truckersmp still cares about ats.
  3. Sounds great! Although since I'm in the US I probably won't be able to make it for the first 2 since they're way too early for me but will be looking forward to attending the last 2-3 most likely.
  4. Suggestion Name: title Suggestion Description: I recently got banned for inappropriate STEAM avatar which is allowed on steam. Steam states as long as it's not offensive or vulgar it's allowed. It was a form of a political figure which TMP doesn't allow but steam does so I was banned for that. Of course I changed it after I got banned but it was an inconvenience. It's stupid that you get banned for a profile pic that's allowed on steam but not on TMP. What I mean by separate is you start with a default profile picture on TMP just like steam and TMP doesn't use your steam profile pic. You can change it to whatever you want on the TMP website. There will be a reminder on what's not allowed of course. Any example images: Example of steam's profile picture rules: http://prntscr.com/q7n6q4 Example of TMP: http://prntscr.com/q7n8jd (just look at parts not covered with black) Why should it be added?: As you can see in the screenshots the steam and TMP profile picture rules are way different and that's why it should be seperate so you don't get banned for a profile picture that's allowed on steam but not truckersmp. It's unfair that you get banned for that.
  5. Of course they support ATS right when ETS2 is updated to 1.36. This is disappointing that it takes almost a month for ATS to update but as soon as ETS2 gets it they finally update. You guys shouldn't be neglecting ATS especially since a new DLC came out and people are going to really want to play it in multiplayer. People probably aren't going to utah now they will go to ets2 black sea instead so exploring utah in multiplayer with other players is not an option anymore because of super late update. I've explored the whole thing in singleplayer already.
  6. Not sure if many europeans celebrate it and that's the majority of people here but if you do happy thanksgiving or happy late thanksgiving if you've done it earlier!

  7. Suggestion Name: Remove promods 2 server Suggestion Description: The promods servers are currently losing so many players this month. As of right now the sim 1 server has 3900 players and sim 2 1100. Promods server only has 1850 players. Promods 2 has 120 players (which is much less during non peak times). Almost a 3:1 player ratio between the 2 servers with sim 1 and 2 combined. Any example images: N/A Why should it be added?: It's useless to keep a server which is almost dead up. There's no entertainment in playing on a server with 120 players. It's like playing singleplayer with ai traffic disabled. Promods 1 could reach over 2000 players easily at peak times or even other times if that server was removed. When promods was very alive in multiplayer it made sense to have more servers but not anymore. US server should be removed too because it actually is dead with only 5 players at most but is at 0 most of the time it seems. Edit: They actually went through with my suggestion and promods 1 is the only server available now! Thanks for doing it TMP, I've never had a suggestion accepted before and this was definitely needed because the extra servers split the playerbase apart.
  8. Will ATS promods also be supported when it comes out?
  9. Would be nice, and they should also show what they do in every single mini update and not just the big ones.
  10. Go to your game.log file in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder and copy paste everything in it into pastebin and then put it here. The game log can help us know what the issue is easier.
  11. Suggestion Name: Allow players to guide traffic on the kirkenes quarry road (or anywhere else where traffic is congested) Suggestion Description: The road is very congested and I saw some cars that were helping to guide traffic and it was working very well. I decided to do this myself and I found someone else to help me out so we both managed the 1 way tunnel which is closer to the start of the road. We both took turns blocking to let people through the tunnel and we did this for about a half hour until an admin told us to stop even though it was working very well and traffic was the smoothest around that area that I've ever seen with only 50-100 people on tab rather than 150+. Any example images: https://imgur.com/a/YD1VWLh (this is the admin that told us to stop doing this) Just going to mention something they said: "Admins are not going to manage this anyways. People who come here want to be stuck in traffic apparently." So what he's saying is that pertains to EVERYONE. I don't think EVERYONE enjoys being stuck for 2-3+ hours here. Pretty bad argument by them. Why should it be added?: I think the rule that says normal players can't block and manage traffic should be changed a bit. If 2 normal players are doing a good job managing traffic, like we were, they should not be able to stop us. There is absolutely nothing wrong with helping out traffic in a congested area like this. Also something i should mention is there's almost no admins here anyway so who's going to manage traffic? The players.
  12. Just drove on the kirkenes quarry road and it took 2-3 hours to get through. https://imgur.com/a/XRA0csH

  13. So promods recently came out for truckersmp and Iceland is one of the most populated area right now. Iceland has some windy, slippery, narrow roads which makes for a unique driving experience but it requires much more careful driving than what we're used to in vanilla ETS2. I figured I would make this guide so people know how to drive safely. The most important thing you should do is follow the speed limits, especially if you have a trailer. The speed limit is normally 80 km/h (speed limit signs say 90 km/h but that's for cars) but may drop to 60, 40, or even 30 around the windy parts of the road. Without a trailer you can probably get away with going over the speed limit a bit on straight parts but even then you should be careful driving fast with players around. Never overtake on a corner. It's dangerous and if someone comes toward you in oncoming traffic you will not have much time to react. Only overtake if the road markings say you can overtake, there is no oncoming traffic, and if the person in front is going under speed limit. Watch out for slippery parts of the road, especially around corners. The physics aren't as intense as winter mod but if you're going too fast then you won't be able to steer much so keep your speed down. Also sometimes the slippery parts can abruptly end and if you're steering too much and the physics end you can start rolling over so steer the other way quickly to recover. There are some areas in Iceland which can only fit 1 person at a time. There's usually a sign before this happens. If there's a blue arrow on the right side of the sign you have right of way, if it's red you don't have right of way. Unless they let you go then give them right of way. Most roads in Iceland are much more narrow than normal roads. Keep this in mind when going around corners take it a bit wide so you don't swing your trailer into the opposite lane. Keep your distance and don't pressure the person in front of you to go faster. Wait for a opportunity to overtake if they're going a bit slower than the speed limit but don't tailgate. If they have to brake suddenly or lag back you're going to rear end them. This goes for anywhere though obviously. That's it for this guide, I hope it helped! If there's anything else I should add let me know.
  14. Promods support has been something that many of us have been wanting for years and it's finally here! Thanks for finally supporting it and I appreciate all the hard work on TMP's side and promods's side. The only thing that's missing is ai traffic but I understand it's hard take your time on it guys.
  15. I went to the dirt road near kirkenes and there was a good amount of players there and it was fun and a bit of a challenge with the road being so tight barely being able to fit 2 players. Iceland seems to be where the most people are and since there's no ai traffic yet that's one of the only places where you're not going to be so lonely.
  16. There's a bug in multiplayer where if you press your brake or gas and press chat at the same time it gets stuck. To fix this just press your brake/gas again.
  17. I often see people without a yield sign give right of way to people with the yield sign in Calais and it causes lots of confusion to everyone. Also some people think they have right of way in some situations but they don't. That's why I decided to make this small guide so people know where to give right of way and where they have right of way so they don't stop unnecessarily for someone who has to yield. Read the notes at the bottom of each image for more information on a certain intersection. All intersections: https://imgur.com/a/dBi65p1 (repair station outdated in this one but the lkw turn in the last screenshot is still relevant): Edit: Updated screenshots for the new Duisburg repair station and fuel/rest stop: https://imgur.com/a/vUCtqX5 Edit 2: Since Duisburg now has a non collision area that goes all the way to the fuel station the right of way rules for those intersections no longer apply. And the repair station is also reverted back. Also there's the Calais rework and the traffic lights that TMP added at the intersection around the highway on/off ramps. Nothing is changed in the city except for 2 lane roads, but the new traffic lights TMP added which make it much safer to traverse that area and traffic flows much smoother and there's not as many massive pileups and crashes. And lastly, the reworked Rotterdam-Brussels intersection makes that area easy to navigate and the yield signs make sense now. This is what the colors mean: Green = first Yellow = second Red = last
  18. Ghost mode should start AFTER the game loads to prevent stuff like this from happening.
  19. A much easier way to do that is going to task manager and ending the process. I have had this issue with many games before and that's a very simple fix.
  20. Go to the programdata folder by going to the search and typing %programdata%, then click on truckersmp and delete the core_ets2mp.dll file. The launcher should start after that.
  21. You should use a high money profile in multiplayer so you can get your own truck and also the money helps against trolls. Once you do that you can sleep or teleport to garage/service and that will sync the economy and fix the problem with jobs being late if you log off during a job and continue it later and fixes the problems with there being no jobs. You have to do this every time you get on multiplayer.
  22. It only happens if you're doing an external contract job and that's intentional design by scs.
  23. Try reinstalling TMP. You can find out how to do that in the knowledge base: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/147
