Hi truckers,
It has stopped snowing, the days are getting warmer, the grass is green and the trees are starting to blossom. It can only mean one thing, spring has arrived!
Even if it may not feel like it, we’ve gone full circle and it is spring once again. Where has the time gone!? All jokes aside, we’re excited to confirm that we’re working with Grimes to support the Spring Graphics/Weather mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and, for the first time, American Truck Simulator.In order to use this modification on our servers, there are a few extra steps you need to follow compared to installing mods for singleplayer. Upon the mod creators request, you will have to download this mod from a third-party website.

As with the various other Grimes environmental mods, this modification is optional and not required to play on any of our servers.

Suggestion Name: Change Event Organizer when they leave the VTC
Suggestion Description: Many event organizers that are linked to a VTC create events through the VTC Event admin page. And Event Organizers usually plan ahead. In the circumstance of when they leave the VTC they remain the organizer (for instance "Created By: xxxx" and the little icon next to their name that says "Event Organizer") for those future planned events. While they under normal circumstances won't have anything to do with those events anymore. Their edit rights are (rightfully) removed once they leave the VTC but yet they do remain the organizer.
So my suggestion would be to change the event organizer to for instance the VTC Name, a dummy user, or the owner of the VTC (I am guessing the last suggestion would be the easiest as they have a clear role as owner of the VTC).

Why should it be added?: To avoid any confusion about who is actually running the event on the day itself. The person who created the page and maybe added the route may not be involved anymore after all.

Really cool mod. I am in an autumn mood now

I think people underestimate how much time it can also cost to write a proper status update where you are correct, maintain a language everyone can understand and not promising things you cannot live up to. I'd rather have that mwl4 spends that time on updating the source code rather than explaining things here.
The update will come when it is ready. What is so wrong in playing 1.37 in the meanwhile (or 1.38 in single player if you rather have that). The choice is yours.
There is no point in saying we are at 95% now while that last 5% will cost you more time than that 95% for instance. With more annoyed users as 95% means it is almost done doesn't it?
If you want to support the project and can afford to do so become a patreon but don't expect faster updates or being kept up to date about current afairs just because you became a patreon. This is a community driven project which unfortunately also means it is a project for people's spare time. But on the plus side peolple are dedicated to TruckersMP so appreciate the time spend in people's spare time to ensure you can play the game with other users. For now at 1.37 but later on at 1.38 and later also 1.39 etc. Enjoy the events the event team organizes for you, the moderators that keep discord and the forum a better place, the media guys who create and post the most beautiful content and all the other staff that work hard and with passion in their spare time.
But what is the point in discussing when 1.38 will come? It won't come any faster by discussing it over and over again. It just creates annoyance.

If you use a World of Trucks job it uses real world hours. So if you start a job for which you have 24 hours (but do note the different lengths in which you have to finish your job) at for instance 11:00 AM you have till tomorrow 10:59AM to finish it.

Suggestion Name: Smart autokick AFK
Suggestion Description: A smarter autokick for when you're away from keyboard. When the servers are not that busy you should be allowed to be longer AFK than 10 minutes. There is no real reason to kick people if the servers are not that busy. So if a server is not that busy extend the kick time to for instance 20 minutes.
Any example images: n/a
Why should it be added?: To allow people to stay away a bit longer for instance to make lunch or when your toilet visit takes a bit longer than expected at quieter times of the servers. Also this adds (in my opinion) value to the game as more trucks will remain parked at gas stations or parking area's as they would in real life.
