Thankfully, resolving was straightforward: I started the game as an administrator and continued playing. I believe the error cause lies not with our computer systems, but rather with TruckersMP, as starting again the application resolved the problem entirely, allowing for seamless functionality thereafter.

Check for background programs: Make sure no other programs are running in the background that could be interrupting your game. Close unnecessary applications and disable any overlays or notifications that might be causing the game to lose focus. Update drivers: Ensure that your graphics card drivers and other important system drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause compatibility issues with games, leading to unexpected behaviour. I have faced this problem in the past, and it helped me to close all unnecessary open programs like Discord, Google Chrome etc. Also, I set TruckersMP to "Windowed" and not "Fullscreen".
